I was excited to try LA Fonda for the first time.
I ordered chili Verde which was served with rice, beans, and my choice or corn or flour tortillas. The food portion was generous and the food was delicious. The food is more authentic than text-mex.
I ordered a long Island iced tea. It was good and had a decent amount or liquor.
The music would turn off and there would be long periods of silence.
Posted on the doors and various locations within the restaurant are signs stating if you pay via a credit card you will be charged additional 3.50%. Personally, I don’t feel as the customer i should be charged this fee.
The restaurant is child friendly, wheelchair accessible and has plenty of free parking.
All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant, because of the additional 3.50% surcharge. As a customer you can receive the same food quality, portion size, service, and a different restaurant who does not charge the additional fee.

Chicken chimichanga ala carte is $8.25 each. These things are like 3-4” long. Very small for $8.25 each. So two and fries was $21+. Plus they charge you 3.5% additional if you pay with credit or debit card.

Our first family visit was a positive one. Service was friendly and prompt with anything we needed. Our food came out fresh and fast. The adult meals were great and there were food options our kids are on the kids’ menu.

Always good food and great service. Everything on the menu is good, and we especially like the Burritos and Salads. The fajita taco salad is really good, and their cheese sauce is second to none.

Been awhile since we’d stopped in and now I wish we’d visit more often. Food is all HOT and delicious with just the right amount of flavor. Had the chicken fajitas and wife got beef tacos. Of course we couldn’t leave without a sweet tooth treat with the Sopapilla & Ice Cream.

This Mexican restaurant was not to my taste and the service was quite slow even though there weren’t a lot of people in the restaurant. Once I was seated no one came to my table for almost ten minutes when a lady brought me chips and salsa. I did not care for the salsa. It was another five minute wait before the waiter came to take my order. After that everything flowed pretty smoothly. I ordered the cheese dip which was good. I got the Enchiladas Supremas which is four different “stuffings” which I like to do my first time as a taste test. I didn’t love any of them but the bean one was decent. All in all a disappointment.

We may have a new favorite Mexican place, when in this area. The chips and salsa are exactly what we like and the carne asada tacos were Soo good I highly recommend them. Atmosphere as well as the service was awesome.

I usually get the veggie or shrimp chimichanga here, but I am reviewing to praise and recommend the Shrimp Fajita Nachos dish. It’s a very balanced and tasty platter. The service is also good and drink and chip refills are quick.
+ The amounts of food given are worth the prices.

HUGE portions and really tasty food. Pretty affordable too. $30 for two meals and drinks. Would definitely recommend.

The quality of the food was very good. From chunky tomatoes in the salsa, peas in the rice, a very polite and friendly team, there were enough pleasant surprises to make me come back.
