this building used to be an Applees. The exterior was painted vibrant and colorful. We apparently entered into the wrong door(side door). They still welcomed us in. The correct door is in front, where the cash register is located and the door facing Grantline Rd. Plenty of parking. Plenty of tables and booths. The interior is fun, Vibrant and colorful. The salsa and chips were good. The food was good. We enjoyed our meal and service was on point. I enjoyed the Gordita the best. It’s a fried tortilla made into a pocket and stuffed with protein and veggies. The atmosphere was good. It looks like a Good place for an adult birthday party or margaritas with friends.

We stopped in for dinner after an afternoon of local shopping in New Albany. Service was exceptional, food was delicious and the restaurant was bright and welcoming.

We shared the Pollo con Arroz with a side of refried beans – it was definitely a share size. I splurged and got a Paloma and it was not for the weak ‍

Middle of the road as far as pricing goes. We went on a Saturday night at 8pm. The flavor was wonderful! I highly recommend the carnitas burrito! The service was friendly and kind. The salsa was mild but when asked for hot they brought out a smoky diablo salsa that when mixed with the other was wonderful. It was about $35 for two burritos, chips and salsa, two waters, and a 20% tip. We came out very well fed and happy!

Good restaurant…good food. I have found a new favorite dish…carne asada with fries! I ordered the steak asada…it was awesome…check out picture below. Two people could eat this dish…I had lots of leftovers. The horchata and pineapple waters are the best I have had here in Indiana. The restaurant is in the old Applebees, in front of Wal-Mart…there’s plenty of parking, the restaurant is very clean and looks festive. Give them a try…it really is good food and the portions are large…plenty to take home for later

We went on a Friday night and were served quickly. It was my first time here and I became a fan. I ordered a pork quesadilla ( which I usually do not order) it came with a little salad. The salad is really just tiny bits of tomatoes and shredded lettuce and some mozzarella cheese fresh mozzarella cheese and the lettuce is so fresh and the tomatoes are so fresh. It was wonderful with the quesadilla. The quesadilla had delicious pork and cheese in it. My husband had the wet burrito with pork which came with a lot of queso over the top. And we both dipped chips in the sides with plenty of cheese to spare. I was very impressed with the freshness of the food and the service. I will definitely be back.

From the outside the restaurant looks kind of iffy. But once you walk in the atmosphere is great and fun! But the food was not good. The chorizo queso was extremely greasy. And my tacos looked seasoned but had very little flavor. The margaritas tasted mainly like sour mix and no tequila. Fun place but not great food and drinks

The restaurant is very clean and colorful inside and out, with ample parking available in a freshly redone lot. The service was fast and friendly with free chips and salsa provided. The server remained attentive throughout my meal. The portion sizes are large and the food is good although I did find the rice to not be especially flavorful and I also had to add some salt to my birria tacos, but other than that the flavors were spot on and did not leave me disappointed in the slightest. Prices were fair with my three birria tacos, chicken empanada, included sides, and drink running me $25.01 after tax before tip. I will definitely be returning.

This is a brand new restaurant in New Albany. The food was very fresh and tasty. I would recommend any of the dishes and I would certainly recommend the desserts. I had the best chocolate flan I’ve ever had course this is only second flan that’s chocolate that I’ve had but it was very good.

I love this place. I was a loyal customer of Puerto Vallarta for yeeears, but their prices became too high for the amount and quality of food. La Fogata is my new go to. The food is closer to traditional Mexican than just TexMex. The chili relleno meal is my go to. its a ton of food for the price!
