The first La Fogata opened on January 1, 1990 after the owner worked long hours as a server and saved her tips to start her own restaurant. We are very proud to say we’ve been serving Southeast Denver for over 30 years and still going strong! Now with two locations, everyone can enjoy La Fogata’s decadent Mexican cuisine. This was my first visit to this restaurant. I joined two friends for a holiday meal. It was one of their favorites so we went. I was greeted warmly and quickly seated right away. Service was incredible. Food was hot. Fresh and delicious restrooms were immaculate. It was just such a pleasure to be pampered and taken care of and served great food. I will certainly be back and on a regular basis support local.

Excellent food, a cozy space, and a wonderful staff! I’ve never had something here that I don’t love – but the taco salads are my go-to! The margaritas are delicious and strongly poured!

The dinner started off questionable since they sat us including kids next to a drunk large party that was talking about strippers… Yuck. They moved us to a quieter area where our food came rather fast. My order was wrong, but they quickly fixed it. The food was excellent and the service good. The salsa was different from most restaurants, but oddly good. I’ll go back just for the salsa. I loved the shredded beef enchiladas. Overall it was a great experience.

The service was top tier, food came out extremely fast despite a small rush of people. The food was really good, the green chili was top tier. Guacamole was ok, and the margaritas were ok but the rest of the food was really good. If we are ever in the Denver area again will definitely stop by!

Good Mexican place in Microcenter shopping center. The salsa is hot, but not blazing hot, and has a lot of flavor. The camarones ajillo were very good with rice, avocado, tortillas, a small salad and orange slices. The flan was okay but denser than it should have been.
Service was fast, polite and attentive. The space is pleasant but a bit dark if you’re not seated by the windows or outside. They do have unsecured Wi-Fi available for guests.
There’s plenty of parking available, but at peak times you may have a short walk.

The salsa and guacamole are excellent. I wish I could order these online since I don’t live in Denver. I always wa t to eat at LA Fogata when im in town. The service is as good as the food

Staff is very friendly providing a warm neighborhood vibe. Atmosphere is pleasant with plenty of room inside and decent sized patio. The food is tasty and in generous portions for reasonable prices. Full bar. It’s my go-to Mexican neighborhood restaurant.

I came with my wife. She ordered the fish tacos and I ordered the shrimp Diablo. The server and the runner were very attentive. I enjoyed the beans the rice, The chips and salsa we’re good as well. I was pleased with my whole experience. I would recommend coming down they have room for big parties. They have a nice patio if you want to be outdoors.
