Kenosha restaurant week has brought great deals to this place. The food has always been delicious anyways. But the fajitas were so good today. Margaritas are dangerous. We thought they were weak and didn’t taste the alcohol until it hit us.

My daughter and I ate there last night and it was a great experience! My wife was working late at middle school conferences and of course our daughter wanted McDonalds, but driving past La Fogata, she agreed to try something different. I tried their new cowboy burrito with cactus and it was delicious highly recommend. But the star of our meal was a new soup they have Pozoloe Rojo I believe was the name. Just the right amount of spice and cooked just right. Our daughter LOVED it. Plus the service was great. Definitely going back in the future!

My husband and I decided to give La Fogata another chance last night and we were pleasantly surprised. We sat at the bar and we were immediately served hot chips with salsa, delicious drinks, and our food order was put in quickly and came out in a timely manner. The bartender was very quick and attentive, even while being busy behind the bar, and made the perfect skinny margarita. My only complaint is the lack of vegan options. This would be the perfect date night if a vegan meat substitute was offered for tacos.

I Want to shout out to Dez, She was the hostess at the front. She saved my life, LITERALLY! She had a very positive attitude for it to be such a busy night. She gave me an accurate time on how -long the table would take. We got in pretty quick for it to be so packed. I proceeded to order steak tacos. I didn’t fully chew my steak, and it got lodged in my throat. The person I came with, tried to help me, but he started to scream for help, and Dez stopped what she was doing at the front with all of those customers. And came to save me. Without her I would not be alive tonight. I genuinely could not breathe and she made sure that I was able to walk out of there in one piece. God bless her. God bless this establishment. Thank you for having employees who know how to properly do the Heimlich maneuver. I am alive because of that. I had a great night. Despite everything that happened. Thank you to all of the other customers that tried to help and intervene as well. God bless you all. I definitely recommend. Food is a 10 out of 10. Service is a 20 out of 10. Thank you so much Dez for saving my life tonight.

My family had been here multiple times, with and without the kids. They have a good kids menu and everytime we ask for the kids food first, they get it out to our table in under 10 minutes, so greatful as a mom with hangry kids! They have some strong margaritas, for those rough days! Food is delicious as always and our server, Jacob was probably one of the best servers we have had here! Definitely recommend coming here!

We had our daughter’s baby shower here this past Saturday. It was wonderful. We had the whole back patio to ourselves which is a huge plus. The food and service were outstanding. I would recommend them for any special occasion. The event planner, Desiree, was very attentive to all of our needs. Thank you La Fogata!

Stopped here on a warm Sunday night with some friends, and enjoyed sitting on the patio to soak up the summer weather, it felt refrigerated inside.
The menu had a tempting assortment of margaritas, but our server said a new item was white sangria, so we decided to share a liter of that. It was quite sweet and pretty strong, but delicious. We ordered fresh guacamole, which had a lot of onion in it, but was a nice accompaniment to the fresh crispy chips.
My Mom loved her enchiladas, one friend had impressive looking fish tacos, and another had the Baja wrap, because it was unique for a Mexican restaurant. I’m gluten free and was excited to see enchiladas as an option, but they were barely warm by the time I got them, and corn tortillas at that temperature are kind of tough and hard to eat.

Missy was one of the best servers I have had the pleasure of in years. Thank you young lady! She knew the menu and she just knew what to serve me. It was great. The restaurant has made great improvements since I was there 3 years ago.

We went for lunch on Tuesday and Missy was an excellent waitress and made the whole experience very enjoyable. She is upbeat, great sense of humor and anticipation of needs and wants. The food was very good and quick (Korean beef tacos and Gordo Mac) and good size portion. Definitely will be back. They did taco Tuesday with $3 off on tacos and happy hour started at 2:30.

I have been coming to this place for some time I don’t get there as often as I like because we don’t live in the area anymore .they have changed the menu which was a pleasant surprise. my wife had the fajitas which were phenomenal I had the chimichangas which were outstanding my daughter had the tacos which she really enjoyed and everybody else I can’t remember what they had but there were no complaints. The atmosphere and the vibe in this place tie everything together also with an outstanding server Olegario who was very knowledgeable of the menu and its ingredients . He also asked if there were any dietary restrictions and helped us make make our dinner choices especially with the desserts which were outstanding. The guacamole is always the best and and so are the tequila and Margarita selections. I really like the ice cold draft beer and a frosty mug. I I highly recommend this place to anybody that is in the area you will not be disappointed. The Big Mango
