Omg I’m so disappointed, this is the closest Chinese restaurant to me and I’ve rode pass for years and today I decided to go because I didn’t feel like driving to Mesa Hot Wok. I order pepper steak and beef lo mein and I could cry. I wasted my money on this light skin lo mein with no taste and this pepper steak taste so horrible idk how to describe it. I will never go back here again. I will continue taken my trip to Mesa for good food. You guys don’t know how hurt I am now I have to settle for a sandwich

Yesterday was my first time here, and it was a terrible experience. Just a heads up to others — pay close attention when you order. I came in at 3:20 PM and the menu clearly stated lunch specials run until 3:30, yet the employee told me it was already too late. I had to show her the menu and the time on my phone before they honored the lunch price. Even then, the portion I received was noticeably very small.
The food was absolutely disgusting. There was barely any beef at all, and what little was there looked gray and old. The fried rice tasted like old clumped-up rice mixed with some slightly newer rice, but honestly it was all nasty and inedible. The egg and rice were completely gross.
I only ate a few bites before throwing it away, and I ended up with food poisoning.
I never write negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share this as a warning to others.

this spot is such a hidden gem!! the food is so GOOD AND MADE FRESH! the spring rolls are so soft and flakey when you bite into them. the entrees & appetizers are such a good price as well! i wasn’t too hungry so i ordered some appetizers which are so cheap i only spent about $9 (not including tip). they also allow you to dine in restaurant style but the seating is minimal!

We ordered through GrubHub and I ordered Garlic Chicken with no onion and it came with no onion but also no carrots or broccoli and extra mushrooms to the point where I couldn’t taste the garlic anymore and the mushroom taste overpowered the entire dish. I was excited for leftovers tomorrow but the rest is going in the trash. Makes me sad as my other experience with Happy Jade was fine. I double checked my order to make sure I didn’t check the wrong boxes and I only asked for no onion. Also, the egg roll was subpar. Probably won’t be returning.

With fair prices and good food, this place is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The restaurant interior has a warm modern comfortable vibe. The staff was super nice and friendly. We ordered take out and look forward to delivery. The orders are large, so you’ll have leftovers. The chicken fried rice, a staple, was great.

This place is right down the road from me, and it is the best! The owner is super nice and fun, and the food is delicious! Also the servings are HUGE, and one meal will last two or three in reality. Lastly, the prices are unbeatable; with many other restaurants being twice as expensive!

The guy was very rude when placing my order. I should have walked off then but I still wanted to try it. I got the lunch special chicken lo mein. They give you more rice than the entree itself which was a huge disappointment. And the rice tastes horrible I’ve never had this bad Chinese rice. It’s hard and bland. $9.50 is expensive for this. The crab puffs were soggy. I would rather go to panda express than this place.
