Found this place through some searching for best ice cream in Charlottesville while we were in town for the day. Glad we did! The paletas are amazing. The selection is outstanding. My family each went back for a second because we would never be able to return. Blackberry cheesecake and tres leches were the family favorites. Stop in – you won’t be disappointed!

This place is actually amazing, highly recommend especially on a hot day. I had the fruit punch popsicle and it was the most refreshing thing–really high-quality house-made fruit juice, lovely texture that crumbled almost like shaved ice when bitten into, and tasty fruit slices embedded throughout. My partner had the leches cake popsicle which was also delicious from the couple bits I had of it. Fantastic shop!

I just found my another favorite ice cream here. They have tons of flavors of both popsicle and ice cream. The first time I tried pineapple chili popsicle and tre leches cake popsicle and they were so good. The next visit I tried pistachio ice cream, which was really good as well. They also sell ethnic grocery and stuffs. I will go there more frequent then.

La Flor Michoacana is home to wonderful treats and a very friendly staff as well as to the best and widest array of amazing paletas in the region (the mango and strawberry/fresa are definitely must-tries!). Cannot recommend this place enough!
