Hands down best bagels in all of LA area. Perfectly toasted. Perfect amount of cream cheese (always a generous amount). Fresh squeezed orange juice and Fiji water. Occasionally get the vietnamese coffee for a good kick in the behind to start the day. Definitely recommend for a great breakfast spot as they open at 6am on the minute. Thanks 5th ave! 🙂

Small and simple bagel shop with so many bagel options! Service was fast and friendly . I had the lox, cream cheese, onions and capers on the jalapeño cheese bagel. Was absolutely delicious! I didn’t find the jalapeño in the bagel to be spicy at all but it was a nice taste 🙂 Will definitely go back

I began my day with a capuccino, and I have never given a bad capuccino review before. I guess there is a first time for everything! I had the bagel with luxe and cream cheese and the works here multiple times. It is decent, but their capuccino is the worst I have ever had. It’s like old fashioned Ch8nese medicine [boiled for hours, BITTER]. Goodness! How does anyone make this concoction?????

Now you stay away from the capuccino!!

Delicious Bagels with a Side of Charm

Rating: 5/5 stars

The 5th Avenue Bagelry is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of freshly baked bagels fills the air, setting the stage for a delightful culinary experience. The variety of bagels offered is impressive, ranging from classic plain to adventurous flavors like everything and blueberry.

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and a recommendation if you’re unsure what to try. Whether you’re in the mood for a simple toasted bagel with cream cheese or a loaded breakfast sandwich, they’ve got you covered.

One of my favorite aspects of this place is its cozy atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to grab a quick bite on your way to work or to linger over a leisurely brunch with friends on the weekend. Plus, the prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food.

In summary, 5th Avenue Bagelry is a must-visit for any bagel enthusiast or food lover in town. Trust me; you won’t be disappointed!

I like food
Board says 1.80 for a bagel and .50 for cream cheese on bagels, gourmet bagels and croissants but the woman ringing me up said I had to pay 3.49 for cream cheese. I paid left and went to eat me somehow both slightly burnt and cold, stale egg bagel with a thin layer of soupy cream cheese. Wouldn’t have left a review but while I was sitting her a man working there came how to loudly explain to me how to read and I said it’s okay like 4-5x before he would just leave me alone. I thought they were so busy because it’s a great place but I’m pretty sure it’s because it’s the only bagel spot. Really don’t care so much about being charged a dollar or so more, I just wish the bagels were good.

On my third visit to the bagelry I recieved a slant cut bagel, robbing me of 40% of my cream cheese! However, great customer service and speed are certainly not in short supply here as they replaced it in less than two minutes.

Great iced vietnemese coffee, fantastic bagels, dont miss it.

Top 4 reasons why this mom & pop establishment has the best bagels I’ve ever eaten:
1. They season BOTH sides of the bagel well.
2. High quality bread – crunchy on the outside (i ask for double toast) and soft/chewy on the inside
3. Generous portion of cream cheese. Jalapeno variety is fire.
4. Pair with the vanilla nut coffee brew and you’ve got yourself the perfect breakfast on-the-go combo.
I’ve been coming here for years with my family and this review is well past overdue. Nevertheless, I am happy to support small business!

Only place I could find close to my hotel at The Pike that opens early. I’m an early riser and it was a brisk 10ish minute walk. The folks that work there are all very nice, make great food and drinks, and the place is cozy and clean. I tried the Denver that was recommended and the Green Juice. Very yummy! Hot and fresh! The bagel was so good! I had the Asiago Spinach bagel. It was soft and fresh. The chai lattes are also tasty. C= I also went the next two days after and ordered The Heavenly Veggie and added egg and bacon, and the bacon is so crispy and everything made hot and fresh! I had the strawberry shortcake smoothie and the spiced chai blended. So very yummy!
