I live and travel in a skoolie full-time and was out and about checking out the city when I got hungry and decided tacos for lunch was better than pizza . So I stopped and got the $9 huge spicy pork burrito and it was amazing ! So glad I stopped . This little food bus is my bully also agree the food and smell is the green chili sauce was A-1 also !! Perfect sauce topping for my delish burrito

I tried this at the Davenport Farmer’s Market cuz I had heard people speak positively about La Flama. I sure hope the restaurant is different from the truck. I was excited to get a breakfast “burrito” which they describe as coming on a “large 8 inch flour tortilla.” What they handed me cannot in any way be described as a burrito, and I am sure there are people who would be offended by that beautiful name being used to describe the tasteless pinky that was handed to me. It is very clear that they are trying to maximize profits. They should instead be focused on having happy repeat customers, which I will not be. The people were nice and the food was fast but I won’t be coming back again. Felt totally ripped off and the only thing that saved it was going to Las Delicias a few stalls down afterward and getting some real food. (Sad that I didn’t take a picture of the “burrito” next to my actual pinky so you could see how serious I am)

We love La Flama so of course we were excited that we were able to book them for our wedding. All the guests looked forward to the quick service and great taste with a laid back atmosphere at the reception. Martin was so easy to work with to assure that we had everything in place for our day. He was also very accommodating when we needed to add more servings to our request. Definitely check them out for your event. You won’t be disappointed!

July 13 was our grandsons 1st bday. 50 people plus. Your food and complete provisions of paper plates silverware and napkins was a joy but the food service was outstanding. Truck was a hoot in driveway. Your having a party ….this is the way to go,, delicious food served by a very kind man and women.

We’ve been coming to La Flama Restaurant for years now. La Flama on Wheels has catered to several of our family events. We honestly think that these street tacos are just the best in the Quad Cities, very authentic too (coming from a hispanic girl, and family). We obviously wanted La Flama on Wheels to be a part of our wedding, and show all our guests how amazing this food is!!! We worked with Martin, he was awesome!! So helpful every step of the way. He was very professional, quick to respond to my emails/calls, and fast with delivering a quote. He was ready to get down to business. We ordered a mix of chicken, beef, and al pastor (my favorite) for our wedding and guests could not stop raving about how good these were, including our hispanic guests! We also had sides of rice, beans, and chips with guac and salsa! All very delicious at a very affordable price.
I would highly recommend La Flama and La Flama on wheels for your next event, they are simply the best.
