I got the fajita nachos and they were fairly decent. My friend got the fiesta ranchero and did not like it. Something was up with the steak, he couldn’t finish it and he started to feel sick. We had to leave and go buy some tums cause he felt sick. Again I liked my food, my friend didn’t. My plate was red, and his was white in the pictures.

We tried this place last Sunday, and went 4 more times last week. It was delicious. Hands down the BEST guacamole I’ve gotten from a restaurant. No icky chunks of tomatoes or onions to ruin the bite, but packed full of flavor and a hint of spice.

All around one star. We went the day after opening and everything was super good and fresh and flavorful.. then we went for dinner a couple weeks later and it was inedible! As others have said, it’s extremely salty as salt is the only thing they use for flavoring. The chicken and rice are literally bland as all get out minus the drowning of salt everything has. But worst of all, the chips were completely burnt and tasted like grease and were literally terrible. We asked the waiter for a different batch of chips and he was clearly irritable, big shocker the $7 SMALL queso was ice cold. Do yourself a favor and stick to Lucia’s. Very disappointing

What a horrible experience at La Finka Athens but truly a beautiful facility. Service was poor, no smile nor greeting at the door, we asked for a table and were given a booth which obviously did not make her happy. No smiles by anyone, we had to ask for someone to take our order. Order was mixed up, one example, when told we wanted beans not rice the surly waiter actually argued with us! Have never had that experience! Food was so salty it could not be eaten. Had to ask a gum chomping waiter to have someone take our payment so we could leave after a long wait, as they just stood around. We will not be back even if they unexpectedly remain open for long. Truly a bad experience and their premium prices are not competitive for Athens which has some great Mexican restaurants.

Blah food. No spices at all in the dishes. Extremely loud in the dining area, like trying to have a nice meal in a high school gym during a game. Will not return. More Mex cuisine in Athens with better food and not having to eat in a huge tin can.

Everything we tried was delicious! Our server was very helpful and nice. They also have really great salsa! I got the shredded beef chimichanga and my husband got the Carne asada tacos and it was all so good! We will definitely go back!!!

First off I never leave reviews unless my experience is either fantastic or horrific but today my friends if I could leave 10 stars I would! Me and my wife and less than 2 year old son have been here now for numerous occasions and I haft to say every time we come the food is second to none and service is the same. I am a heavy consumer of sweet tea/water and my glass never runs dry here. I highly suggest the fiesta ranchera or the shrimp chimichangas they are absolutely Devine! The steak in the fiesta ranchera is so tender you can cut it easily with a fork and the shrimp and chicken are perfection on a plate! My wife is super picky about her cheese dip and this place is her favorite we highly highly recommend!!
