The atmosphere is lacking but the food hits hard. I have been going there since the place had 4 tables and man, it never disappoints. If you want solid authentic mexican food, this is your place. Everything is good. Get a mexican Coke or a beer! This was Costillas en salsa verde (short ribs in green sauce) excellent and second picture is caldo de pollo (chicken soup) spectacular

This location is in Iowa. We came out here for my son’s soccer tournament. I’m a little hungover and needed to find menudo somewhere. I gave the atmosphere a five-star even though it wasn’t packed with people. It reminded me of being back in Mexico with my family eating breakfast at a local restaurant. This location is not eye appealing but they make up for that with the fresh hand made tortillas. A lot of places you go that actually make hand made tortillas, are thick. This location’s corn tortillas are pretty thin and really good. The Menudo here is really soft but the soup actually needs a little bit more flavor. It tasted a lot more like the meat than the seasonings. It did the job though. The salsas at this location are excellent. Salsas make the taco anywhere you go! I was satisfied with the seasoning in the asada carne and the al pastor was pretty decent.
The Michelada was excellent!

I’ve made a bad habit of going there for lunch lol. Great food, not much of a wait time. Highly recommend.

I’m visiting from North Carolina, and La Finca came highly recommended. It did not disappoint! The food was amazing, with an authentic atmosphere that made the experience even better. The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, setting the perfect tone for the meal.
What stood out the most was the incredible value—the portions were generous, the flavors were outstanding, and the prices were surprisingly low for the quality and quantity of food. This is definitely a place I’ll return to on future visits, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience.

5/5 – We had one order of steak tacos (soft shell) and steak burrito. All the food was very warm, great taste, and only took a few minutes to get to our table. The chips and salsa are amazing, but not for the feint of heart (it’s a bit on the spicy side). Food brought out with red sauce (about as spicy as salsa) and green sauce (pretty mild, but amazing flavor). I myself loved the salsa and red sauce, but my other half was barely reaching for the green sauce 😀

Me and my wife frequent here almost every Tuesday. As it is the last place we are aware of that has $1.00 tacos still for what used to be almost all of the Mexican restaurants in the Quad Cities. Now the stand alone with Bon Bon Tacos off Brady street raising the price to a $1.50 per taco on Tuesdays now with a limit of 15 per customer. The negatives on this establishment are that there are only two types of Tuesday tacos to purchase and its almost impossible to be able to get any of the carnita taco “which in my opinion are better” the other choice is chorizo which are still good but not my favorite choice. Last Tuesday the lady told me they were sold out of the carnita tacos by 2:30pm, and the previous Tuesday by 5:00pm. I find that pretty lame, and wonder why they just don’t make more of the type that are in much higher demand. Also I do purchase a few specialty groceries while I’m there usually and find those to be fairly high priced. In addition to that they have a big sign on the front door saying they DO NOT ACCEPT EBT. Which I find pretty ignorant considering the establishment is obviously losing a high volume of revenue not taking that form of payment like their competition a couple streets over. A big positive about this place is that they have a very very friendly staff. The lady doing the sales for the kitchen on the Tuesdays is super friendly and accommodating. Other staff members on the front register and in the back at theminmi meat market are really nice too. Makes your whole experience better when you enjoy the people your purchasing from. Also got to see Davenports finest frequenting the establishment carring out quite a few bags of food for the whole fire station I would presume.

This place is awesome! Huge portions and huge flavor! $7 burritos (the girth is real on these)! Pretty busy during lunchtime, but you can call ahead for takeout. Authentic mexican food done right!

Fantastic and most importantly truly authentic Mexican food. An absolutely wonderful hidden gem in Davenport. The restaurant is inside of a Mexican grocery store and the food is absolutely to die for! 10/10 I will make this a regular stop on my travels through from now on.
