Love this place! Delicious food and friendly service, plus the atmosphere is awesome! We will definitely be back when we’re driving through town again.

Food is always positively consistent. I either get the Sancho or the tex mex quesadilla. The last two times we have been there the service is friendly but less than prompt. I think our waitress was new and she was having a hard time keeping up. But overall a good place to go for quality Mexican food.

I came to see the Dwight D Eisenhower museum stopped in Abilene for lunch at La fiesta. Great Mexican restaurant. I had the green chili pork Verde along with a crunchy taco both were very tasty. Service was great.

The food was good but the service was poor. Our server never offered us extra chips or refills on our water & soda. She never checked on us after our food was served. We had to source our own napkins and silverware from a nearby table. The many signs of rules made us feel unwelcomed.

We enjoyed our meal at La Fiesta. While a bit pricier than some Mexican restaurants, the portions are huge, adding value to the meal. My husband had the Pollo a la Parrilla and was quite pleased with it. I had the chicken quesadillas in the A La Carte section and was surprised that the two very large quesadillas included sauteed vegetables in the quesadillas and a small salad on the plate–yum. We added an appetizer of their white queso dip. The festive decorations added to our experience. Needless to say, we waddled out quite satisfied.

Well to be honest, we had high expectations from the get go because how can you screw up mexican food? There wasn’t a website so we couldn’t look up a menu but some of the reviews seemed promising. Service was ok. Not much of a personality from the waitress. Food did come out fast so that’s a plus but the special of the night “shrimp tacos” was literally 3 shrimp in 3 flour tortillas with some rice and lettuce. The Santos burrito wasn’t anything special with plain ground beef and plain cheese sauce. The happy hour was decent with 1/2 price beers. That was the best part. All in all, set your expectations low and it might be ok.
