We were traveling and decided we wanted tacos. We stopped at the first restaurant we saw that had tacos. I’m so glad we did. The most friendly staff greeted us then took our order. They were more than accommodating and gave us menu choices explaining each one. We decided on the fiesta tacos my husband had the steak and I had ground beef although not on the menu they still accommodated my request. I enjoyed my tacos they tasted great it was presented well. The prices were very competitive We would have spent that stopping at fast food and obviously sometimes fast food just isn’t what you want when you’re traveling or any other time this was a great break from the fast food options of the interstate. If I’m ever traveling again and I’m in the area I will put this down as a place I’d stop again. Thank you for the great service and great food La fiesta Mexican restaurant!

The staff are wonderful. Friendly and make you feel like family. Food is always fresh and plentiful. Definitely get what you are paying for. Atmosphere is fun and inviting. Televisions on display at all viewing angles. Covered outdoor dining area. “Banquet/party size room that can be closed off. Every aspect of this restaurant is great. Hands down best Mexican restaurant in the area.

People are friendly food was hot and delicious! The waiter was on top of everything. I’m from Kentucky and I’d drive the hour and half here just for this place!

Place was clean. Staff was friendly and our waiter was very attentive. Staryed with chips & salsa, needed a spicier one and waiters delivered . My husband & I had the fiesta fajitas and the beef fajitas both delicious. I also asked for a margarita and waiters told me he could do two flavors did mango/strawberry both delicious . Place setting is comfy they offer both table or booth or outdoors.

My favorite place to eat locally. The staff is awesome and if you go there enough they will memorize your order.

Used to be a really good Mexican place, new owners bought it and changed some recipes and now it the saltiest place in southern Illinois. Used to love it now I hate it. Was a waste of money. Half the crap didn’t have any other flavor other than salt. I love Mexican food and I’ve ate almost everywhere within a 40 mile radius. This place is now in my top ten Mexican places to avoid. Used to absolutely love la fiesta in Frankfort, but as of recently, I won’t be eating there again.

Service was really slow.
The salsa was basically just crushed tomatoes with no seasoning.
All of our food was really bland and sweet, as if someone swapped the salt for sugar.

I was on a road trip in January and I stopped here, it was one of the first places I saw off the highway. I ordered the fajitas plate to go. They sautéed green peppers and onions with the fajitas and they were sooooo good! Worth the stop !
