We decided to explore this evening and found ourselves on 25th. This little restaurant caught our eyes and appetites for sure.
Ms. Francesca was our server and took extremely good care of us. She was very patient and took the time to describe dishes to us. Impeccable service!
I ordered half orders of spaghetti and meatballs and canelloni with penne pasta in white sauce. So flavorful and just did not disappoint. The wifey chose lasagne, (Mt. Lasagne) and half order of chicken parmesan with penne in white sauce. We both had salad and soup. The house balsamic was superb while the hearty spicy meatball and the tomato basil soups were just absolutely delicious.
We started with cheese bread and garlic bread with pink sauce for dipping. Our cherry 7up and strawberry lemonade were refreshing for sure.
We chose to end this feast with lemon blueberry mascarpone cake and a complimentary glass of milk.
If you’re hungry for Italian, do not miss this opportunity to tour Italy without leaving Utah. Sheldon and Francesca will absolutely treat you like you are family and will send you home with full bellies and gracious smiles.
Definitely one of our favorite places to dine for authentic, one of a kind and flavorful dishes.

This place was great. Every dish was very flavorful and well seasoned. The meatball soup was very zesty, the veal was tender, all of the pasta was well cooked, and the sauces were delicious. The shrimp was excellent and not fishy at all! The cannoli was amazing, very strong chocolate flavor and the sweet cream was to die for. The Italian cream sodas were also fantastic! Overall a wonderful dining experience.

This has been one of me and my wife’s favorite Italian places in Ogden for years. Alot of times we’ll go there our anniversary. Such a cool little hole in the wall charming italian place! We always love the Italian soda, cannoli, cheesecake, tiramasu, feast of italy for two, the list goes on! The meatball soup and smothered calzone shown are way good!

My family and I LOVED the food and the atmosphere. It’s a favorite spot for my daughter and her dad, so her step dad and I took her for Valentines Day. We were not disappointed. The staff is so friendly too! A must try place on 25th street for fantastic Italian food!

We have visited La Ferrovia several times over the years and have never been disappointed. I adore their Spinach Cannelloni but I can also vouch for the Pollo Alla Griglia and the Pollo Parmigiana. I cannot get enough of their white sauce.
The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is some of the best Italian I’ve had. I cannot recommend it enough.

I love Italian food and this was a great place to eat. The atmosphere was amazing and felt like your inside an Italian home being treated as family, the service was great, food was fresh, staff was friendly. I wouldn’t say it’s the best but it felt like a home cooked meal! You have to try the lemon leche, it is worth every penny!!

This restaurant had signs detailing its authentic origin with Italian immigrants, then proceeded to serve us pasta and salad that looked straight out of my elementary school cafeteria. The gourmet hot chocolate was the highlight of the meal on a frigid January day, plus a delicious complementary cannoli we received as an apology after the waitress accidentally disposed of our order ticket, causing us to wait an hour for our food. Also, if you sit by the fish tank, the fish will flee to the furthest corner from you—I don’t know who hurt them, but at least they were pretty!

Tracey was super nice. Meatball soup was good, lots of pepper in it just a warning I like pepper. Had the chefs combo, the white sauce pastas were better than the red sauce. I’m not saying the red sauce was bad just the white was really good. Only knock on the food was the breaded meat part of the meal had a piece of gristle that was hard to cut with the butter knife while trying not to shower your shirt in sauce. The atmosphere was nice, just not upscale for full 5 stars.
