I decided to check this place out. It was difficult getting service. They had Custard Tart (signs) and Nut and Chocolate Tart (signs) in front of the Nut and Chocolate Tarts. After trying to find out what the difference was since they looked the same, I determined that the signs were incorrectly placed. The representative did not acknowledge the mistake, I guess I was supposed to know the difference in their pastries.
Their products were behind bright lights, showcasing all their products. The tart was good but not good enough to go back especially after the poor service.

Love the baguettes, tarts, almond croissants, and chouquettes. Definitely an authentic addition at our local King Soops away from France!

The croissants are delish. They were flaky, crisp, soft and buttery like a croissant should be. They were not like the soft, flat, and slightly greasy kind you normally get at grocery store or even coffee shops. They brought my parents so much joy. They can’t travel anymore so bringing them a bag of these croissants was like transporting them to France for a tiny moment. Highly recommend.

I just returned from France and googled where I could find items similar to my favorite boulangerie, Maison Keyser. I was so surprised to know that the ONLY place in the US carrying Chef Keyser’s items was in Castle Rock in a newly opened storefront in King Soopers. I decided to go and see what items they had-fully expecting a couple of croissants and baguettes. Wow am I excited-I came home with a baguette, croissants, pain du chocolat, 2 types of cookies and sourdough. After sampling a big of each, I can confirm it’s the real deal. I hope people continue to buy from La Famille. It’s worth going out of your way for. And to the workers-if you can find a way to bring the famous peanut butter chocolate chip cookies to Castle Rock, I’ll be forever grateful.
