Our first time dining here and it was fabulous! The decor is beautiful and upscale. But the food was amazing. We had empanadas and choripizza for appetizers. And for our main entrees we had the chivato uruguayo sandwich and Ribeye dinner. The flavors and presentation are so unique and delicious, they serve their steaks on raised sizzling hot griddle pans. We had never seen this before and it was a great concept. For dessert we had postre chaja which was also so delicious. Our server was very friendly and so helpful with recommendations on the menu. Even the owner was helping out the staff and walking around taking to guests. Highly recommend this restaurant and we plan to bring our entire family there soon.

We don’t get to go out often and I’m glad we chose this place. We were greeted warmly at the door. The vibe inside was great. It was full but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves . My son and I decided to sit at the bar. Neither of us are familiar with Argentinian and Uruguay cuisine. The bartender Dani helped us right away and wasn’t pushy and extremely professional. There are many things on the menu I intend to try but I asked some of the staff about a few dishes. The had good knowledge of the food and made a great suggestion. I ordered the Chovito El Plato. The steak was tender, the bacon. Cooked perfectly and it was an amazing dish. The prices were reasonable, the food exceptional and the staff professional. I’ll be back to try the other things on the menu.

Our second time here, and we’ll be back again. Great cuts of meat seasoned perfectly with respectable pricing. I also had the best empanada. The staff makes you feel like you’re in their home. The only problem was the home-made chimmichu was soooo tasty I wanted to drink it. Nice mix of wine and craft cocktails. We used a Groupon and saved a few bucks.

I’ve seen this restaurant came on my page many times , since I’m a foodie , I’m like let’s try it . Had a reservation at 8pm for 2 . I got there at 804pm . The owner was extremely nice , he couldn’t find our reservation but still sit us. 5 mins in the waitress , which she was very sweet but might have been going through something that day . We ordered our food right away . We had empanadas and $127 for 2 which includes all the meats. 835pm we are still waiting for our food the person who came after us received their orders.the manager came offered 20 percent off the tab . Which we agreed to it because we were hungry . Been fasting all day . None the less . The food was great. It should be on them next time and I still tip (fyi) but let’s hope for next time so I can really enjoy my food . Food gets 5 star .

We came in last evening to celebrate Valentine’s Day! We were greeted by one of the owners, as they are keeping their doors locked at this time for safety (please be patient!)
The owners were both present and so lovely.
All the staff was!

We were sat and our server came shortly. He was quick, kind and helpful! We did 2 mixed drinks which were phenomenal!! Avg pricing for drinks in the city! About $15.
And then we ordered the valentine’s special with empanadas, Salmon and steak.
The beef empanadas were AMAZING and flaky and flavorful. We also had a cheese and spinach which was good but we preferred the beef.
The two main dishes were cooked and seasoned perfectly!!! The chimichurri with the steak was stupid good!!!

Overall, a really fantastic experience!!! The place is super clean and well put together. You can tell the owners really put their life and culture into it! Sentiment of Uruguay and argentina everywhere! even by the bar, the have one screen with scenes of one country and the other screen with the other!!

Really pleased and will be back!

This place is great. The staff is very friendly and eager to please. The food is delicious. We got the all you can eat short ribs and they let each person pick the sides they want now instead of the fixed sides on the menu. The chicken and chorizo are good, but the beef is the star here. Coming back for a ribeye next time

I have mixed feelings about this place. I’m not sure if it’s trying to be upscale, it definitely isn’t. The food was good, but just average. The quality of the meat was decent, but not high-quality. The seasoning was nice, and the chimichurri was delicious. The fries were super greasy, and I could not eat them; they were disgusting. The vegetable was in a small cup and was also greasy. The soup felt old and reheated. The steak was OVERCOOKED!!!!

That said, the restaurant itself feels cheap. The chairs are uncomfortable, the place is a bit dirty, and the service is unhygienic. For example, how can you have the server taste the lemonade with the same straw they’re mixing it with, and the same straw you’re about to drink from? On top of that, the server used his hand to handle the straw, which wasn’t even wrapped. I don’t know what the waiters do in the bathrooms with their hands, are they even washing their hands to play with the straws like that? Just because it’s a Hispanic restaurant doesn’t mean standards should be lower. This is not South America. It needs to be clean. Wear gloves. Don’t wipe sweat off your face with the same hands you’re handling food with. Wash your hands. Wash the plates and silverware properly. Hygiene should come first.

The biggest issue for me was the price. I thought paying over $210 for two people, with no alcohol and only average-quality meat, was far too much. That’s what you’d expect to pay at an omakase or a high-end steakhouse, not here. The $35 included service fee didn’t feel justified when I literally saw the waiter playing with straws.

Honestly, I would have valued this meal at around $35 total, and that’s only if everything had been clean. Not sure if I’d go back. Como latinoamericanos tenemos que hacer mejor para seguir trayendo clientes.

The food is just excellent. The chimichurri is the best I’ve ever had. Everyone needs to just get here and order a steak. I don’t usually bother with dessert but I’m so glad i ordered this one.

Sunny afternoon patio vibes. We kicked things off with golden beef + spinach empanadas, perfectly crisp and paired with a bright chimichurri dipping sauce.

For mains, I couldn’t resist the choripán — smoky grilled chorizo tucked into a crusty roll with fresh lettuce and tomato, served alongside thick-cut fries and plenty of ketchup. Simple, bold, and exactly what you crave with a glass of Malbec in hand. ✨

A little taste of Argentina right here in Minneapolis.
