This was one of the best authentic restaurants we have eaten at in Texas so far! We dined in on a Sunday for breakfast. I had the Mexican breakfast and it was superb! It was spicy and well seasoned! My husband has a burrito and it was huge and absolutely delicious! Oh and they make the best homemade tortillas wow! I highly recommend this place! Service was top notch!

WOW! Very impressed by the food and the service. The food reminds me of what my grandmother used to make for us in Mexico. I would definitely recommend anyone to try this. REAL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!

Was taken here for breakfast after going to the Farmer’s Market. It was crowded but the wait was not long. Very friendly staff. Even though they were very busy, they always had a smile. They did their best to wipe down the tables and get orders taken due to the crowd. My eggs were very fresh and flavorful. The red sauce was good. The tortillas were huge and very fresh. My refried beans were more watery than I prefer, but overall everything was good.

Standard small town diner. Standard menu items, done well at an affordable price. One of the least tourist’y places to get a good breakfast on the island.

The fact that I have not found this place sooner always traveling to Galveston for years shocks me. This place felt like home. Absolutely great food, prices and the tortillas I swear are bigger than your head. Fresh and YUMMY! I can’t wait to make this my little “go-to” each time I travel to Galveston now.

A long overdue review but I used to go to Estacion once a week back when I was in school in Galveston! Sitting here in Dallas at a Mexican restaurant I reflect on how great I had it when I could go to La estacion. I miss it deeply! I always got a burrito or a torta, and the service was always so amazing! The tortillas were made there AND YOU COULD TELL! I almost want to go back to Galveston just to eat here again!

In these times of not enough workers. Be prepared to wait a while for your food. Even if you call ahead. We love the food this is why we continue to frequent this place. Food is Great!!! So pack your patience

It was authentic I’ll give it that. Tortillas as big as your head were not bad. My problem was cleanliness. The table was sticky, the menus were sticky and were covered in old food, drink ware looked like it hadn’t been replaced since the 1900s (chipped, cracked) . The food tasted freshish and homemade, overall a 6/10. Customer service was good. It’s an ok place overall, nothing worth visiting twice though.
