We were looking for a quick and cheap place for lunch and we love finding hole-in-the-wall type places. Google maps suggested this and we decided to give it a try.

The place is decorated in a quaint old Mexico style with colorful flags and piñatas hanging from the ceiling. The service took its time but we finally placed our orders. The food came out quickly. The dishes were fairly substantial. We ordered a giant lunch burrito with ground beef, an enchilada combo plate and a plate of Super Nachos. The burrito came as a folded tortilla, not a rolled one which we typically find in Texas. I find the taste and flavors to be pretty bland. I also tried some of the nachos, which came loaded with protein with avocado slices and sour cream on the side. The nachos were a bit better but not by much.

The price over all, with tips, came to be just about $12/person. It’s fairly cheap in these days.

I had the surprise burrito that comes out rolled like a taco but was very tasty. My husband ordered chilichilies and got a green verde sauce, which wasn’t on the menu but it was great! Hopefully they add it to the menu.

Local Favorite.. international crowd when busy I’ve never come when the please wasn’t at least half full. Constant flow of customers. Very family friendly. Our favorite breakfast has always been the Estacion or Chorizo Plater (with refried beans, potatoes eggs, a Texas size in house made hot flour tolrtilla and salsa with coffee. Today I tried the Barbacoa. Yum!
New visit: went there for lunch for a change. My friend loved it and said they will definite be back for Breakfast or Lunch now that they know they are closed for dinner. The Carne Guisada was tender and delish!

This was one of the best authentic restaurants we have eaten at in Texas so far! We dined in on a Sunday for breakfast. I had the Mexican breakfast and it was superb! It was spicy and well seasoned! My husband has a burrito and it was huge and absolutely delicious! Oh and they make the best homemade tortillas wow! I highly recommend this place! Service was top notch!

Was taken here for breakfast after going to the Farmer’s Market. It was crowded but the wait was not long. Very friendly staff. Even though they were very busy, they always had a smile. They did their best to wipe down the tables and get orders taken due to the crowd. My eggs were very fresh and flavorful. The red sauce was good. The tortillas were huge and very fresh. My refried beans were more watery than I prefer, but overall everything was good.

Talk about a hidden gem!
We were just driving around looking for a breakfast spot and stumbled upon this place. From the outside, it didn’t look like much—but we decided to give it a try anyway, and I’m so glad we did! Our waitress, Flor, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies.
The food was absolutely delicious and made me feel right at home. ☕️

Definitely coming back soon to try their lunch menu!

Ordered a small bowl of Menudo and a barbacoa plate with potatoes and beans. It’s hard to find good Menudo, and this was good. Personally, I love spicy Menudo. This was not spicy, but I would definitely order this again. The barbacoa plate was just as good, too. As the saying goes, don’t judge a book by its cover. It’s not a pretty place, but I will always pick good food over atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I am not from the area, but this is definitely a recommendation, and I will be back.
