First was the Chile con Asadero. Very runny for my taste but had good flavor and just a right amount of kick.
Next was my plate of Tripitas. I asked for them to be medias (not crispy) they were undercooked still and very much so underflavored. I have never had to add salt to Tripas just to give it any flavor. Very disappointed in my meal to say the least. Sadly I will take it home, in hopes of fixing it myself.
The Combination Plate was “sour” I can’t fully describe the taste otherwise. We will not be taking this home to fix as something about it was just not right.
The Service was as lacking as the flavor of the food. The server was nice enough to warn me that the rice had bell peppers (I’m allergic) so I got double beans. She never once asked how we were doing, how was the food or anything. We had to ask her to come by. I might understand had they been busy…she had 2 tables, US included. 2 people at each table. You would think that since I barely touched my food, she would ask why. She didn’t.
I used to come here a lot more often when I lived nearby and thought I should come again. With food and service like this, I don’t see myself coming back.

Went for a meet and greet with a customer and this restaurant is awesome. Food/drink was great, service was top notch, atmosphere was average, and the table was clean. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with Green Sauce, an egg, and queso and it was really good. The chips and salsa are alright. Good enough to eat the whole bowl of salsa, but nothing spectacular.

Service was not the best but not the worst. Food was mostly bad. Chips have a funky smell and taste. Rice and beans are ok. Chilaquiles and papas a la mex were horrible. Barbacoa was overhead like 2 or 3 times. The flour tortillas smell and taste nasty. Definitely not homemade. I will not be going back. The ac pipes leak water all over the place. Even on our table, and it seems like nobody cares. People are obviously not as concerned as I am because they keep going. Prices are too high for the quality of the food and location.

I have eaten at this establishment since the early 90s and the food has always been great! Gabby and Jennifer are great waitresses and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant dinning experience. The only negative is the queso and I do believe it is out of a can. Other than that everything else is very flavorful!

The place has gone downhill since Jennifer left and I don’t know what happened to Gabby. My last five visits have been lackluster. Two of the five I was served salsa that was watered down by 98%!!! Food prices have risen along with 5.00 tea and I believe $2 Waters. The waitress that had the unpleasant discourse to me made three of the 5 last visits horrible. I’ll be going to La Bodega now for my lunches.

Sorry but this place doesn’t meet the Mexican Food Experience. We order Menudo and Red Enchilada Plate. The food was serve fast, and very hot, even the plate was really hot. But!! Even though the Menudo was serve with a lot of it and well cut, it was flavorless. The enchilada plate was ok if you like it made with powder red chile instead of actually red chile sauce. The service is the only reason why I’m giving them a 4, the lady was attentive and friendly and quick to attend to us. Atmosphere, is to dark, boring, needs an update.

Food has always been good, but 4.75 for an iced tea is ridiculous. My family of 4 starts out a 20 dollar which has made this place overpriced for the quality of food. 2 star for the fact I will not return until the drink prices are reduced.

Hadn’t been here in years. The food was still rpetry tasty service was great the only thing I’d change is helping the room quiet down. The area we were seated in was very loud and you couldn’t hear a conversation at your own table.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! Our servers were very attentive to our needs and hot our food out quickly. I highly recommend the guiso plate and the huevos divorciados! Queso was really tasty too! Good hot sauce and chips. They have daily specials too which is why I tried the guiso and was not disappointed! Also this place has one of the best hamburgers in town!!! COME EAT!

Most tasteless food I’ve ever encountered…..this “queso” is straight from a can…same stuff they sell at kids sports concession stands!!!! Also was told that the chips & salsa would be added to our ticket. Waitress was extremely nice but the food just wasn’t up to par.
