I love coming here for a quick lunch, the Spanish rice is delicious and I really like their salsa- it has good flavor and isn’t too spicy. The guacamole is made fresh and flavorful. The chicken quesadilla is really good, and the enchiladas are good too. Service is quick and the restaurant is always clean. A perfect lunch spot for when I’m missing dishes I used to get back home in Texas.

The service was dreadful. The two women were extremely rude and dismissive. You’re an annoyance walking in and choosing to eat there. On top of that the food was bland, stale, and everything is frozen. I got the carne asada and I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse piece of meat in my life. I also got the flan and it felt like stiff and old. I regret giving them $40 that I could have used to eat somewhere else. It just sucks to see a place like this still open. Bad food, bad service. Save your time, money, and stomach and literally choose anywhere else.

The lady server was rude and was always passing by and asking a guy if he was ok or if he needed something and she never asked me anything. She offered the guy chips and salsa and I didn’t get that at all plus she was very happy attending the guy. Love the flavor of the food but they need to start treating people equally.

I will tell you that right now, it’s at least two dollars more for combination plates in Orange county restaurants like this one!
And you won’t even have half the clean, neat and friendly atmosphere as this little restaurant offers. (Hope this review doesn’t make them raise the price)
As you can see from the pictures, the food is very good and is generous with portions. And I got sliced lime with my plate! So when other places are giving you lemons, head down to this Montebayyo restaurant where they are keeping the East Los Mexican food tradition alive and well.
I was hungry and stopped in again. I thought that new pictures of the menu and food will help everyone see how they are keeping the price in check while still providing the best food!

The food is fresh and delicious. The service is pleasant. We love the combo platters. They have specials per weekday such as Tacos Tuesday where most of the tacos (asada, carnitas, pollo, al pastor) are $1.75 each. Restaurant is clean and spacious. Definitely a place to frequent.

First and most importantly the food was amazing. I ordered 2 plates of chilaquiles one with red sauce and the other with green. The sauce tasted so fresh you could tell it had just been made by hand. The flavors danced in my mouth and reminded me of what my grandmother’s food used to taste like back in mexico on the ranch. The eggs were fluffy, which is hard to do, and the tortillas were crisp. Everything just tasted si fresh and delicious. But then we get to the service… it was also fenomenal. They could not have been nicer or more acomidating. This was my first time and I will definitely be going back.

Bad food and bad service….From the get go felt unwelcome and the staff were rude after we asked for an add on to a meal. Our plates were practically thrown down on the table and when our drinks were forgotten and we went to ask for them the waitress was sighing seeming very annoyed.
The flan was hard and clearly frozen before hand, the beans were also bad they had a gritty texture. What a waste of $40…

La enchilda is amazing! They have a wide variety of food and specials on certain days. Spice level is mild (i love spicy); however. they make up for it through their delicious food and many choices.
