La Dalat, located in downtown Temple, is a fantastic spot for authentic and fresh Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant has a trendy, laid-back atmosphere that makes for a great dining experience.
The highlight of my meal was the bún chả cá (fishcake noodle soup)—it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, and all the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh.
While I highly recommend the noodle soup, they are also well-known for their excellent phở, bánh mì sandwiches, and crispy imperial rolls. The service was friendly and attentive, making it an all-around wonderful visit. I’ll definitely be back!

This is my second time here.
Love the food, atmosphere and friendly staff.

I had the Catfish in the Clay pot!
Spicy, with caramelized onions, Catfish in a sweet and spicy sauce! I’ll be back for more.
The Chicken Noodle Soup is awesome. Tender chicken with a savory broth and lots of noodles!
The spring rolls are imperial rolls are refreshing.
Be sure to check out this amazing Vietnamese Restaurant!

We will be back!

I just can’t comprehend how they charged me $17.75. In the menu a bow of Pho is $13.25 and extra noodles is $2.5 which I did ordered it… it must be $15.75 to be exact. This is a rip off. I hate to say this to a Vietnamese restaurant but for sure you can’t overcharge your customers like that. I won’t be back for sure. Pho is alright for the price, beware not too much meat in your regular bow unless you order extra.

The staff was wonderful and the food was even better. We were welcomed immediately with a friendly smile even though we were cutting it close on the 3 pm close by showing up at 2:30 on a Friday. Not once did any member of the staff rush us and instead made sure we felt welcome at all times. Now let’s get to the food. The Bánh mì bread was crisp and airy and the sandwich was a great combination overall. There were two stars of the show the first being the Hú Tiéu Pho also known as the Special Pho with Char siu pork, shrimp, chicken, and quail eggs. The broth was strong with aromatic flavors. The Bún Bò Nuóng which translates to Grilled lemongrass beef rolls was one of the best dishes we have ever had a Vietnamese restaurant. Talk about packed with flavors and cooked perfectly. We were very happy with our experience and will back soon to enjoy again.

La Dalat Vietnamese Restaurant is fantastic! The food tastes so fresh and authentic — every dish was packed with flavor and felt like real home-style Vietnamese cooking. It’s also a great spot for families; very welcoming and kid-friendly.

I have to mention our server — the young man with longer hair — he was so polite, friendly, and attentive the entire time. His great service really stood out and made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Placed a to go order and went to go pick it up and chris the female behind the counter was very blunt, short and rude. A white male server told us to stand in a different location to pick up a To-Go order while we were trying to look at a menu and then when we went to go pay, we had to go right back to the same place that we were already standing to pay.Nobody was nice in there. While the food is fantastic, we would not be going back to this location.Purely for the service. Get better staff that actually want to work in customer service.
