We ate at La Cueva 4 nights in a row! The food was fantastic, along with the service. It was a highlight of our visit to Utah. Great value, food came quickly, excellent variety of dishes, and allowed for many modifications. I’ll miss dining here!! The barbacoa was BOMB

Amazing Mexican Food with a Homemade Touch

We ate at this restaurant during our trip and were genuinely impressed. The food was incredibly tasty, fresh, and had a homemade quality that set it apart from other Mexican restaurants I’ve tried in Los Angeles. The margarita cocktail was absolutely amazing — one of the best I’ve had! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the service staff were all very friendly and always smiling.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine!

We had an excellent experience at La Cueva Restaurante Mexicano. The food was truly delicious and tasted authentically Mexican, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. There’s a wide variety of dishes available, including many great options for vegetarians, which we really appreciated.

What made the experience even more memorable was the incredibly warm and friendly staff. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and well taken care of. The service was fast and attentive.

The shaded outdoor terrace is also lovely — a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, the prices are more than fair.

We truly can’t recommend La Cueva enough. We’ll definitely be back!

On our recent trip to Utah, while staying in Torrey, we chose this restaurant for our dinner. I must say it was a wise decision. We had an amazing experience.

The food was delicious, right from fresh tacos and salsa to nachos and fajitas. Everything ordered was totally worth it.

The service was great, despite a wait during peak hours. Our order didn’t take long and appetisers were on the table just at the right time with a side of beautiful smile.

The decor and interiors of this place will keep you engaged and it is just that perfect nice cozy place to have a meal with your friends or family during your trip.

Both margaritas we ordered, (one basic one tamarind one) were more than enough for two people and just so refreshing!! Must try!

I will definitely try out more things the menu whenever I am here next!

I hope your experience is just as good as ours.

I had my doubts before stopping but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It was authentic and delicious! Everything was fresh and tasty! I had fish tacos. They were served with a small salad, beans and rice. #allergygirl asked for no lemon and it was served perfectly! The staff was friendly and service was fast.

This place was great and really hit the spot. The food was great, the staff was very friendly and cheerful. Their drink menu was really cool – a lot of variety of Tequila. The restaurant itself was nice, clean and just the right setting for dinner. We were there after dark, but I assume the views are great.

I really enjoyed this small town in the middle of nowhere. Hope to get back there some day soon.

We ate here on our way out of the park. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. Every dish we ordered was amazing. The chilli relleno was superb. The shrimp fajitas were yummy. My 9 and 6 year old ordered the chicken tacquitos and the quesadilla and ate every bit that was in their plate. Highly recommend. We will definitely plan to eat here every time we visit Capitol Reef park, which has become one of our favorite national parks in Utah!!!

Yummy, we ordered the 3 carne asada tacos. There was a ton of meat in each one. It came with chops and salsa and rice and beans. The margaritas are the best part. Great selection of beer. The waiter was very kind and attentive. They have a bar where you can sit on a saddle.

A Mexican restaurant near to our hotel (The Noor Hotel). When we noticed that there’s a lot of cows in Utah when we were driving, we tried beef dishes and as expected, they’re all good! They made it fresh and the servings per plate is actually good for two persons. We ended up taking some leftovers to the hotel to be our breakfast the next day. The atmosphere is nice! There’s also a convenience store / souvenir shop next to the restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed the food!

My goodness! I had very low expectations for food near a national park, but this restaurant was amazing! The homemade molé was to die for and my husband got the bistek a la Mexicana. Both were amazing. I also highly recommend the margaritas. Fun flavors and wonderfully made.
