The atmosphere of this place is super nice. Very cool decor and mood. Very nice for a romantic date in my opinion.
For a drink I ordered the passion fruit juice. I’ll say it’s VERY natural so if you’re expecting something a little sweet you’ll have to do as I did and ask for some sugar on the side.
For food I ordered the shrimp entree and my wife ordered the fish. She loved hers. Mine was very tasty BUT. I felt like for 400+ pesos it wasn’t enough. It was literally around 6 pieces of shrimp and some squash (squash was amazing though). I felt it was missing a carb and I literally went to to buy pizza after which is frustrating after paying a decent amount for a meal.
Overall, lots of good but don’t expect big portions for every entree. You’re paying for atmosphere which is fine but I prefer a balance between value and mood.
Service felt so underwhelming. I thought it was so funny how hard it was to order when it’s such a hot spot. We speak both English and Spanish and you would think we spoke Chinese when trying to order. The waiter stared at me looking very lost. Also the man with the breads went to everyone in our little area and skipped our table. When I asked for straws the guys said “no” then he said “are they for the kids” and I said “yes” and he said “ok”. Keep in mind they are heavy glass cups so maybe bring a sippy cup if you have a little kid. Another waiter brought a 2nd receipt and said they missed a piece of bread on our receipt and I said “perdón” because they totally skipped our table Anyways he came to the wrong table.
The juices, chilaquiles, and oatmeal were very good but also very fancy with a bunch of seeds and pretty decor. I know a lot of people like this shmancy type of places however imo this is definitely not 5 ⭐️s.
We paid $1400 pesos for a family with 3 kids.
