IS THERE ANYTHING BETTER AS FAR AS AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD?? THE ANSWER IS NO. THIS IS BEST IT GETS. IVE BEEN ALL OVER THE WORLD INCLUDING ITALY AND LET ME TELL YOU I NEVER THOUGHT ID FIND THIS KIND OF DINING IN WEST VIRGINIA. The atmosphere, the friendly staff, the owner from table to table checking on people but when the kitchen doors swung open I saw the cleanest kitchen I’d ever laid eyes on. But most importantly the food…….. the food…… I wish I had the ability to put more than 5 stars

This was my first time at La Cucina and we enjoyed it after a long day at work. Our waitress Amber was very helpful with questions about the menu and the many choices of wonderful items, including their excellent desserts prepared in house! Needless to say La Cucina is now one of my favorite stops while visiting the Weirton area!

Taste of Food was decent. How ever ordered stuffed papers that were not even baked in the sauce. Three tiny peppers that cost $16 as an appetizer? I’ll pass. Won’t be back

We went to La cucina yesterday and had the best meal! Our server, Gianna, was excellent and so sweet and attentive. We ordered eggplant parm with a side of pasta and lasagna. From the homemade bread, salad with house dressing, to the large portions of piping hot food, everything was delicious. We will be back often!

First time there on Valentine’s day. Walked in and we were confused from the start. Greeter gave us two menus and said they are not serving anything from the one menu. So why give it to us?
The waitress we had was great. To bad we had to lie to her when she asked us about the food. I ordered lasagna at $22….ouch. friend ordered a pizza at like $18. She couldn’t finish the pizza because it had no flavor. Same with the lasagna, it honestly sucked. No flavor. Bland. Have had better from Walmart tbh. Ate a little bit, got to go boxes, got home and threw them away. Absolute waste of money.
Wanted to try something new, know better now.
Also took a long time to get the bland food.
Got home and cooked because we were hungry. Wasted $63 in all.

Did not expect this place to be as good as it was going in. It’s a sleeper Italian pick. Lily was our waiter and she was fantastic.
The bread they included in the meal was so great. I tried a bite of my buddy’s Mozzerella stick and it was delicious.
I ate Chicken Parm with a side of Gnocchi. It was delicious. In addition, I tried the Chocolate Mousse Cake, the Tiramisu, and the Cheesecake. They’re all great and made in house.
The only thing keeping this from a 5 is the pricing, which I think is a little steep. Other than that I have zero complaints. The staff is so great!

My husband took me here for our 12th anniversary tonight. It was a lovely place, with a cozy sort of environment. It was very clean, and all the servers were super polite and friendly. We had the pleasure of having Amber, and a delightful young busman catering to our needs. We ordered these little rice balls and very tasty mozzarella sticks to start. Then he chose lamb chops and I chose the Chicken Siciliano. They staggered everything a little, so it was almost like having a 4 course meal in this cute little place. The food was magnificent, we tried a bit of each others and just… between color, freshness, and taste, we were highly impressed and I applaud my husband’s choice for our date. Of course, I couldn’t resist the Tiramisu for desert and wish La Cucina was about way back when I was pregnant and craving it! It was beyond a delightful evening.

My wife and I took a friend. First time there. We called ahead. We were actually headed to Steubenville to 3 Bad Hombres, but remembered someone had told us recently about La Cucina. Diedre our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and wine. We had the linguine with lobster, chicken Marsala, and crab cake with ravioli, and a great bottle of Italian vino. All out of this world! The deserts were just as special. As Arnold said, I’ll be back!

I’m not sure how this place has such high ratings. Maybe I ordered the wrong things, maybe it was an off day, IDK. I will say that the apps and desserts were really good. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Other than that, it was pretty bad. I ordered the Veal Romano and it was so dry and tough. The breading was straight up scrambled egg and there was no Romano cheese or sauce on it. When I asked the owner if it should have a sauce she tried to tell me I didn’t know how Veal Romano was made and that her way was the correct way. Not an ideal response. She did then offer to make me a piccata sauce to put on it, which was fine. The prices are outrages for the quality and location. A bottle of wine cost us $50. In all we spent OVER $100 per person, (app, meal, dessert, wine, tip) including the credit card fee they don’t tell you about.
