Ordered the bandeja Paisa with steak and the almojabanas to go. The bandeja was very tasty and plentiful. The almojabanas were just coming out of the oven, warm and fresh. Best I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food.

La Cucharita is our family’s favorite place to get authentic Columbian food! The empanadas and san cocho are the best around! 100% recommend if you are looking for real authentic Columbian food!!!

Visited this quaint place for the first time recently for a Saturday lunch with some family. Place is easy to find and is located in a small retail center right off the main road. Plenty of free parking is available in the lot out front. No problems quickly getting a table to seat 6. Menu appeared to be diverse. I was lucky enough to have a native Colombian with me who could explain the menu options and place orders with the staff since I can not speak Spanish. I had Empanadas stuffed with different meats and a chicken Arepa. Food was delicious and service was attentive. I left stuffed to the gills and would be more than willing to go back for another meal so I could try something different. Not sure how well the staff speaks English so if you have a Spanish-speaking friend or family member available, take them with you! Enjoy!

Best Colombia restaurant in town. The food is hands down delicious, service is just as great. The staff is friendly and caring always attentive. Catalina was a perfect host and her service is amazing. I highly recommend stoping here if you’re visiting and need a little bit of Hispanic twist to your day or if you’re a regular, this is a most have regular list place to eat!

As someone who lived in NYC previously, I have been looking for the most authentic Columbian food in Nashville and I found it here at La Cucharita. We tried the arroz con pollo and family special empanadas this time, but we will be back many more times. You may need to know some Spanish or use Google Translate to order.

We came here with a friend who was born in Colombia but was adopted at 3 months. He was so eager to try this place out and it did not disappoint in the tastes and service.
The ambiance was very calm as we came at 7pm but after about 30min there was soon a few tables being taken by locals hungry for some Colombian cuisine.
We’re vegetarian so we ordered sides but our friends ordered meat dishes that looked yummy and said it the sausage and meat tasted just like what they had in Colombia less than a month ago.
Get the Lulo drink, sweet plantains and the pandebono when you check out to take home, a sweet cheesy bread pastry: we got guava!
Highly recommend checking this unique restaurant out and supporting the culture along Nolensville Pike.

We went in for Buñuelos and stayed for the empanadas and sancocho. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly. There was a small language challenge but we were patient and our Server was very nice and apologetic even though there was no need for apologies.
Highly recommend.
