When you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. All of the food is incredible. The taquiza is my favorite (see photo). They stuff their homemade tortillas with plenty of meat. My bf gets wet burritos in whatever restaurant they offer this meal & this place has his favorite. The service is also excellent! Great Mexican atmosphere as well. Can’t say good enough things about this awesome family-owned business.

Authentic Mexican restaurant loved that when ordered tacos they bring you, the onions, cilantro, limes, and sauces. Downside SO MANY flies, which was annoying we were waving trying to prevent them from touching our food.

While I was down in Homestead, exploring the local National Parks, I was looking for the best local cuisines to dine at. In my research, I found La Cruzada, which seems like more of an authentic Mexican restaurant, and less of an American Mexican restaurant. Both have their merits, of course, but I just had to check this place out.

The food here is good. Me and my friends had the botana sampler to get a taste of their food and it was pretty good. I had the tacos de Al pastor and carne asada as my entree. It was okay I wasn’t the biggest fan of them. The server was nice and respectful. The Interior decoration is really nice and fits the Mexican restaurant nicely.
