The pache was delicious, and so was the plate with fried plantains, fried eggs, tortilla chips, beans, and carne asada. The tortillas were delicious and I can tell that those tortillas were freshly made which was a good thing. Overall, it’s a solid spot for Guatemalan food.

I love this place. Their food is homemade and authentic, portions are perfect, and they couldn’t be nicer people. Try the Estofado, the Pepian de pollo, the papusas, the enchiladas, the Criolla and Tipico at breakfast because yes you will be wanting to come here for all meals, and anything else that looks delicous on the menu because chances are that it very much is. Very highly recommended.

Friday I Called in a large to go order as a surprise to my crew. I have never been there but have heard great things, so glad I gave La Criolla a try!!! The staff is amazing! The restaurant is the cleanest place I have seen in a long time and the food is incredible. You will be greeted with a smile and treated like a VIP. The parking is tight but do not let that scare you off. You will enjoy some of the best tasting food in a welcoming atmosphere ran by the nicest family who are all polite, professional and friendly.

This is a great little Guatemalan restaurant. I have liked everything I’ve ordered. I am a repeat customer and have tried many of the menu items. My favorites are the cheese papusas and the caldo de res. I love the salsa & cabbage slaw they serve with the papusas. The juices are great too.
Parking is limited and can be a challenge but it’s worth it.
