The garlic butter Cajun flavor plus extra spicy level on the crawfish was fantastic: super bold, good flavor of heat (but not what I would consider extra), and exactly what I want from Viet‑Cajun style. The downside was the crawfish itself; it was obviously overcooked and tasted like it had been sitting in a holding pan for a while, which really killed the texture and took away from how good that sauce was. It was a mix of sizes, which is neither here nor there, but providing the details for awareness.
The surprise highlight was the 5 spice basil wings. They were crispy, juicy, packed with flavor, and double-fry goodness. I would absolutely come back just for those.
Overall, the flavors are there, but the execution on the crawfish needs attention, so this visit lands at 3 out of 5 stars.
I cannot endorse the beignets. No way! Looked like French fries, but we’re more like funnel cake sticks. Super greasy/oily. Tasted..o k. But the sauce at the bottom of the basket seemed like a honey type mixture (making them similar to sopapillas). They were dusted with powdered sugar. Don’t do it! Sorry.
But we will be back. Seafood was amazing. Great rice. Great flavor.
I really wanted to like it, but after 7 crawfish in. It was not hitting in the flavor, spice, or quality department.
I’d say the pros were it was presented alright, the up charge for a takeout tin is weird so opted for whatever their standard is (styrofoam box & boil bag)
I ended up cutting my own damn serranos and putting spices to rebake the bag because it was BLAND, MILD, and the overall taste as is was just the taste of watered down sea water.
I’d love to know more before judging the overall product, but something is lacking in this crawfish preparation and quality.
Left me seriously wanting for something else, because it was not hitting like I wanted it to.
Would be down to give this a retry if they could up their spice and crawfish game by 3 notches.
Also just dingy, low lit, and kinda weird dark vibe from the outside. Like I was walking into Batman’s lair.
The food was outstanding from the very first bite. My husband ordered one of the curry dishes and couldn’t stop raving about it. I went with the Iron Seafood Combo—messy, yes, but irresistibly delicious. The flavors were so bold and fresh that I was still savoring them long after we left.
This is the kind of restaurant that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished your meal. We can’t wait to come back for more!
Over my last five visits (both dine-in and delivery), the shrimp has gone from my favorite dish to something I can barely recognize. What used to be a perfectly seasoned dish with crisp veggies like peppers and onions has turned into plain, greasy fried shrimp with zero flavor and no vegetables. It’s honestly frustrating — the seasoning is completely off, and it looks and tastes like it was cooked in old oil.
I kept giving them chances, hoping it was just a bad day, but today was the final straw. If anything, with rising prices, I’d expect the quality to remain consistent — not deteriorate.
I’m taking a long break from this place. I hope they reevaluate their kitchen standards and possibly reconnect with the leadership that made them great in the past
