We have been here a couple of times, once for drinks and most recent for dinner. Their cocktails have not disappointed either visits and their pizza was excellent. All the workers were very friendly and attentive, a must stop when visiting La Paz from now on.

Our server, Salvador introduced us to the owner, Alberto. Both explained the menu, which was of a Mexican and Argentinian fusion. They actually specialize in Pizza, which is their main attraction as far as food. My wife and I stopped there to try out their shrimp empanadas which were delicious. Try La Cayota, you won’t be disappointed!
Came back the next day and ordered the mushroom pizza. DELICIOUS!

Pizzas and Mojitos are delicious, servers are always friendly, and it’s always fun getting to see the cute kitty that hangs out there. Love, love, love the yogurt dressing they provide for the pizza. 10/10 recommend.

Sometimes, the best experiences come from simply following your curiosity. On a casual dinner walk from my guesthouse in La Paz, I stumbled upon an incredible mural and decided to check out the place—La Coyota. From the moment I stepped in, I felt the laid-back, welcoming vibe. A cold beer, a perfectly crafted margarita (my first in Mexico!), and the most mouthwatering Hamburguesa Camerone—a shrimp burger like no other—made it an unforgettable find. I kept coming back, drawn by the great food, friendly atmosphere, and its perfect location just two blocks from the Malecón. If you’re ever in La Paz, don’t miss it! I’ve even heard their pizza is the best in town. Go, explore, and let the unexpected become one of your favorite memories!

Absolutely love this place. Came here a second night food’s really good and the service is great. They’re very accommodating on our order as we split two pizzas with different toppings on each.. affect the staff an error on our order and came back to the table to tell us..nice job

We were in La Paz for 5 days and came here 3 times because it was so good. Best carajillo I’ve had, great pizza, and fun servers. My only wish is that they sold their hats!

Got a table inside the courtyard at the bar, great vibey spot. We tried all 4 empanadas-they were delicious especially the lamb. Very quaint pink building, worth a visit if in La Paz.

Came here based on a recommendation from a Paceño. Vibe was excellent with outdoor seating and ambient lighting. Menu was extensive featuring empeñadas and many pizzas to choose from. Waitress pushed one of the many house cocktails as there were 4 pages of them in the Menu. A friendly, restaurant cat walked around the tables looking for a little attention and maybe some food to fall on the floor.
I ordered the suprema pizza and was surprised and the crunchiness of the crust. The other pizzas I’ve had in the area were softer and doughier while this was solid. More of a traditional pizza than wood fired. Pizza was still good though and place was busy from time I arrived until I left.

I’ve been wanting to come here since it opened, but there’s always a wait. Tip: arrive before 6 p.m. on a weeknight. Charming courtyard seating. House cat roaming. Excellent bartender. The menu is mostly pizzas, as well as a handful of salads, empanadas and a couple burgers. On the first visit, we ordered one tuna empanada, which was good but not amazing. Next visit, my friends ordered three flavors of empanadas; we all agreed the celery was the best. The shrimp skewers with bacon and cheese were also very good. You can mix and match pizza flavors, which I highly recommend since there are two pages of flavors. We ordered half sun-dried tomato and half bolognese. The pizzas are very good but a medium-thick crust. I’m more of a thin and crispy gal, but I still enjoyed it. Cocktails were a highlight. They also offer some tasty mocktails. Will definitely be back.

Came here on a late night with two very hungry kids, once we put in an order we waited a little bit which was not too much. The pizza looked good but tasted even better, did half plain half shrimp pesto garlic basil, it was really tasty but what made it better was that the crust was on the thin side and crispy with a thicker but crispy outside edge, we don’t like thick soggy crusts. Lamb empanada was good but I felt it needed a little more flavor but the mushroom empanada was delicious. Overall a great spot for the whole family with quality food and good service. Now that I think about it, it’s the best pizza i’ve had in years!!
