Celebrated here after an art exhibition up the road at Gallery Chimmaya; the food was amazing and the atmosphere wonderful. Classy place, great food, wonderful drinks and excellent service.

Went to Sunday brunch here. It is literally 2 blocks from my house and I have never been there before. I was pleasantly surprised. The array of Mexican foods was amazing. I loved everything. Did i mention bottomless mimosas? The table set up is upscale. i loved it. I will definitely be coming back.

Waitresses are very nice and allways making sure you have anything you need. The bartender from yesterday very nice man “sorry I didn’t get his name” but he prepares good drinks. I wish I lived closer I will be there at least twice a week 🙂 Thank you and Happy Holidays.

I was visiting from Anchorage and this place was recommended to me by a local. Their food is amazing!! From warm chips to the big platters. I wish we had something like this in Anchorage. Authentic and just hearty. I’m giving four stars bc the place is dated. But overall, I had a very positive experience. Service was also good. Hope to be back again in the future.

The 2 for 1 margaritas on Wednesday were excellent. The chips and salsa were fresh as well and the salsa while not spicy had a very nice smokey flavor. The dining room had white table cloths and looked elite. Next time I go I’ll have to try the food.

The food here was delicious. We had set aside a room for our family gathering and they served a buffet lunch. The salsa for the chips however tasted like some taco bell salsa. Not so good. But everything else was good.

I’ve been here about 5 times for special occasions when its expected to be busy at a restaurant and they have handled our big party very well every single time. Their food is also delicious! I love their Sunday brunch the best.

First time I tried this spot around 5 years ago it was great on Sunday morning with the open buffet and free mojitos and served by a who I believe might have been the manager and served us all 8 with all diligence…next occasion was because of the great experience we had the first time, huge disappointment second time around with a group of about 10. They had just hired a kid serving a “group of 10” and threw him into the lions den I believe it’s due to staffing issues or lack of efficient training. Now I’m not trying to bash this place because I believe it has it’s great times and has it’s bad times to try them out. It seems they know when to put on their best service according to the weekly staff necessities in which of course the weekend would be a better choice but wouldn’t count on it then again. This place to sum it up is hit or miss, if the food is good the service will be terrible or vice versa…it’s a bit of a shame when the place looks so nice and up scale. I hope they figure things out and I would advice not to ask for a waitress named Esther who was extremely unfriendly with our party on Thursday March 15th and made my visitors from Las Vegas Nevada feel like they were true outsiders in which I had to apologize for the dry and insensensitve service to my guest. After 12 years in leaving in Montebello I can say now I will never go back here again unless the food is free…

La Costa is always a delicious meal with fresh ingredients from the seafood to meat dishes, veggies and sauces. The flavors authentically Mexican. And the service is friendly. Always on my mind can’t wait to dine with them again!
