A great find in the heart of La Petite France. I highly recommend making a reservation, as this place is always buzzing! It was the perfect way to finish our walk through the historic district. We were looking for typical Alsatian dishes served in a quick, efficient way, and La Corde à Linge delivered. The interior looks really nice and fresh, and the staff was very welcoming. A great spot for a reliable, tasty meal in a beautiful setting.

Beautiful restaurant in Strasbourg serving French food. The beef tartare and terrine were great. Salad that comes with the tartare was a good size as well. Service was good despite the restaurant being completely packed with the Christmas market crowd on a weekend. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, and the staff are very friendly and genuinely helpful. The place has a great atmosphere and beautiful views, which make it worth a visit. However, the food we tried was quite average and didn’t really match the overall setting. Considering the prices, the value for money could be better. I’d still recommend stopping by for a drink or to enjoy the view, but for a proper meal, you might find better options nearby.

The food is good with big portion, I cannot finish by myself so if you go by two and you can share. I paid 30€ for 1 main dish and a glass of wine, which I think is fair for the location.

We went on Valentine’s. A night that was sold out (make your reservations ahead of time they’re popular.) Despite this, the service was so quick, the servers were so kind and attentive and the food was delicious, big portions and quick to be served. I really enjoyed my dinner here, will definitely return

Recently went there on my vacation in Strasbourg. No complains whatsoever. The service is entertaining and puts effort into learning different languages for the tourists. Food is perfect, I wish I could eat there weekly. I recommend going there at around 9-10 pm. It won’t be full like in the afternoon. It will be a comfortable atmosphere with a view on the river, nice service and really delicious food. Definitely recommend the Spaetzle, which basically everyone had on their plate, and definitely recommend the restaurant.
