Immensely grateful to Darlene and the entire team for a stellar experience!! 10/10 minus nothing.
Hosted a little over 30 guests in their beautiful and large private room. Darlene was such a joy to work with especially since I was located in Ottawa but was planning the reception for my brother in Windsor. The event came out too beautiful!!. The food was incredible, best steak and Tuscan chicken we ever had! The staff … incredibly nice and great to work with. The entire restaurant was super clean and everyone truly made our day unforgettable. Thank you La Contessa Ristorante … you have a life time customer. I will gladly recommend for personal and event celebrations!!

We held a bridal shower at La Contessa for 55 people. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was not only delicious but also piping hot. We received rave reviews from our guests who were very impressed. Thank you Darlene, Laura, and Bella for the great service and our thanks to the chef for a great meal! Dined at La Contessa recently and had such a great experience! The service was truly exceptional, attentive, warm, and never rushed. Our servers checked in just the right amount and everything came out quickly and beautifully presented.
We started with the calamari and the shrimp bomba appetizers and both were so delicious. The calamari was tender with a light crisp, and the shrimp bomba had amazing flavor and just the right amount of heat. Portion sizes were generous as well, which we loved.
For my main, I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and it was perfection, rich sauce, well-seasoned meatballs, and a great pasta texture. Portion again was huge, in the best way! We finished with the crème brûlée for dessert and it was the perfect ending: silky custard with a beautifully torched sugar top.
Overall, everything was delicious, prepared nicely, and the hospitality was a standout. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

I want to share only my best impressions. We visited this restaurant for the first time with my husband. First, I want to thank you for the very friendly service, the wonderful waitress was polite and pleasant. We did not have to wait for food, everything was brought quickly. The food was incredibly tasty, we ordered salmon and steak, the waitress advised them to have potatoes and it was the best choice. We will definitely come back to this restaurant.

First time at this restaurant and I have to say I was very impressed with the overall experience.
Great staff (friendly, courteous, had good jokes)
More importantly though, my server was constantly making sure we had service throughout the meal.
They have a great menu and appropriate portion size for the price!
The Arancini is a must have for appetizer
Of course they offer a wide selection of drinks from wines to beers.
I highly recommend you give this Lovely sit down restaurant a shot!

We stopped for drinks before our reservation at another restaurant, but were so happy with the interaction of staff at La Contessa, we decided to stay for dinner and cancelled our other restaurant reservations! The decor at the restaurant was well done. The restaurant was clean and the staff were really great. The food was fantastic. The restaurant was not too busy, so they were accommodating and allowed us to customize our orders from the menu, which was great. We started with the delicious Arancini, as our app and moved on to our entres. The Sachetti was incredible, and both the braised beef and cheese filled Ravioli were superb. Liam, our server was a very nice guy who was attentive, but not overwhelming or bothersome. Overall we walked out of the restaurant and decided it was a wonderful coincidence to stop there. We’ll be back for dinner another time for sure.

We had a special event at La Contessa with our closest family and friends. The staff, service, and food was nothing short of exceptional. From the planning process, Darlene helped me pick out the menu that works best for the event. The day of- Darlene and Vito helped set up and take down. The food & experience, just amazing.
