Veteran and woman operated, family business. La Concheria Cafe is a mix of a coffee shop, bakery and offers a limited food menu that specializes mainly in chilaquiles. Order and pay at the register, no waiters style eatery. 3rd generation bakers, experts in the concha. We have diffent flavor conchas, offer coffee drinks (brewed, iced coffee, cafe de olla) and chilaquiles with a variety of sauces and also serves a limited menu of breakfast tacos (flour/corn tortillas). Kitchen closes at 3pm for food, breakfast tacos stop at 11:30am. If you are looking for authenticity and creativity, visit us and try our flavored conchas

First time here And food was delicious! Ordered the #4 with 3 extra eggs and definitely did not expect the huge portion of chicken and fajita! Usually finish all my food, but had to throw in the towel on this one. The conchas and cinnamon roll were fresh and amazing! Will definitely be coming back again!

As soon as you enter is smells like bad drainage. You have to order at the counter and pick up your order after sitting down. Soggy chilaquiles. Eggs were”over easy” but the yolk was cooked and not runny how i wanted it to be but the white was at the center

We go every-time to mc allen branch wanted to give a try as we are almost close to 11.30 we would not made it to mcallen branch so tried here.
1)very bad service the lady front desk is very rude no greeting no answer no response.
2)food the chilaquiles are served with warm sauce at main branch in mcallen expected the same thing here but it’s different there was barely soaked in sauce.
3) i am very loyal customer to mcallen branch we go almost every weekend but did not get same service or food here.
Please go to mcallen branch skip this one even conchas were not fresh i brought one for my toddler daughter she had cream on top i just i tried eating its not same thing what you get in mcallen!
I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS BRANCH.
