Very nice restaurant! Many great options to choose from the menu. Service was excellent for the most part (bartender refused to acknowledge presence because the wrong door was used). Valet parking is available. Beautiful flowers surround the restaurant. I gave 4 stars, because the drinks could have been a bit better (I ordered the pomegranate martini and Italian Paloma). I will be going back in the future to try more of their delicious food!

A hidden gem, La Collina has 180 deg views with really tasty Italian food. This upscale place is perfect for a date night, and indeed my wife and I had our anniversary dinner here. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were great. I forget now what exact dishes we ordered (we came here a week after my wife gave birth to our son, so we were running on very little sleep). But, I have a picture of the pasta dish which was a seafood special my wife ordered and the baked oysters and we remember they were great. I highly recommend this place.

We had such a great time. This was our first visit, and it was such a pleasant surprise. The ambiance, the service, the food–all were amazing. We loved the live music, too. We’re so excited to go back for other family celebrations!

Best Italian food we had around NW Philly neighborhoods so far. We came in before 5pm and we got the table next to the window. We had the full courses – antipasto, pasta, dessert, and coffee. I loved the grilled calamari antipasto the most – it was fresh, tender and flavorful. My husband loved his chicken parmigiana with Rigatoni, and asked for an extra side of Rigatoni. The service was very friendly and not overly intimidating (lots of restaurants do), so my husband and I could enjoy our date time. We definitely enjoyed our time and meal, and will come back.

Favoloso! Loved everything about La Collina, the food was excellent, the restaurant is super cozy and has a great view overlooking the river, and the service was five stars. Can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes. Had the veal parmigiana, which I normally don’t order, but this was truly fantastic. My better half got the gnocchi, also melt in your mouth fabulous. You will be very happy and your stomach will be even happier you came here.

I have wanted to go here for years!! Finally had a surprised birthday dinner here and it was definitely worth the wait!!! The staff was excellent and I have never had so many waiters before. The food came and hot and the atmosphere was calming. Next time I hope we get a window view to see the city. Overall great experience and we will definitely become if back in the future.

Almost perfect place right down to the valet….. So hospitable, we didn’t have reservation, late rainy night but they where so willing to accomadate us. We chose to sit at the bar which, was a wonderful experience of its own. Props to the singing duet, I missed their names. The bartender, excellent service. Authentic atmosphere. My wifes Spagetti Carbonara was Sooooooooo Good. The dessert, rich but not heavy. So good as well.

Our experience started with the valet which was confusing because he drove the car all of 8 feet to the parking spot. But I know how bad drivers on the main line are so it doesn’t surprise me that they aren’t trusted with parking their own cars. We got to sit towards the back of the restaurant and it was beautiful. The finishes are gorgeous and well-maintained. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. We got some stale bread and butter to start – for the prices I expected better butter. We started with the grilled calamari (5/10), meatballs alla marinara (9/10), the burrata special (10/10). For entrees, we got gnocchi sorrentino (9/10) and a short rib special (7/10). We finished with crème brûlée (8/10) and an apple crumb cake (6/10).

This is my second time at the restaurant and the first time under the new management. The ambience was great and the food was delicious. I ordered a Cesar salad and the lobster ravioli. Both dishes tasted great and the portion sizes were good as well. (I ate some of the salad before taking the picture)
