It was the best Cuban sandwich ever! It was our last day in Tampa before we headed home to NY. My husband loved it so much we bought 4 more to go! Took it on the plane with us! The owner was lovely. These sandwiches were reasonably priced and so very delicious. Can’t wait to go back. My only wish is that she would ship.

HIDDEN GEM IN THE HEART OF BRANDON! If you are looking for authentic Cuban cuisine, look no further. They make easily the best Cuban sandwich in not only Brandon, but maybe Tampa, too! The flavors are sublime and perfectly proportioned, with the perfect blending of zesty mojo pork, butter and garlic, all served with genuine La Segunda Bakery Cuban bread. This is the real deal, signature Tampa Cuban.
Everything is hand-made from scratch, from the perfectly-flavored mojo pork for sandwiches and more, to homemade empanadas and deviled crabs. She also offers a unique version of flan that she makes herself called Choco-Flan. It’s traditional flan on a moist chocolate cake, sprinkled with chocolate powder. Wow!
They are currently open for breakfast and lunch only, 4 days a week. It’s a charming little food truck with outdoor seating, and owned/operated by the sweetest and most personable lady you will ever meet. You can’t miss this one, folks.

The food here is amazing. Everything was packed with flavor and filled with lot of meat from the devil crab cake, and sandwiches. The owner is also a beautiful person. Customer service was amazing. Oh and I had a cafe con leche which was on point. My son drank my coffee lol My husband is Cuban from Cuba and the food from here took him back. The one thing I’m upset about is that I should have tried her food sooner. We will definitely be back.

If you want to go and experience first hand home-made cuban cuisine visit La cocinita Cubana! I drove 2 hours just to eat here. The friendliest and caring owner. The way She takes time to talk to you and make sure your order is cooked to perfection. The Cuban sandwich what a master piece! The mojo on the pork is just so flavorful, the croquetas are just so fluffy and that smooth taste, the palomino steak nice and tender, the papas rellenas OMG!! The pizza empanada so cheesy and filled to the extreme! This is my Top 3 location of all times!! I am already planning to go back soon.

Stopped by to see how good their cuban sandwich was. Not bad the pork has a distinct flavor to it and is shredded . Not quite as much meat as some other places the bread wasn’t as hard and crunchy which suited my mom . The lady who served us was very friendly.
