We always have excellent service and tasty food when we go to LA Cocina. I asked them to make a stuffed avocado, and it was amazing! It is an avocado with chicken fajita meat covered in queso. I have a new favorite! Thanks Mario and Chong!

Great restaurant! I’ve been here several times and it’s always wonderful service. I have tried a different dish each time and it’s normally very good! I really like the Baja Bowl. And the amount of food is great for the prices. They are also distancing tables when seating customers and there is outside seating that is really nice! They have daily lunch specials with a different dish every day as well.

My husband and I tried this place for 1st time.First want to say the restaurant looked nice with its tons of Christmas decor( a bit early though) ..got seated immediately .
chips and salsa were good so that’s a good start.The server however seemed to try rushing us to order and finally I said it’s our 1st time here we need more time. After we did order we decided to get some cheese dip but then couldn’t find the server..hubby went to bathroom and saw her and ordered it and she came by the table and basically threw it on the table so it splattered all over the plate. Our food was not good at all..1st I got the wrong taco ( which was replaced on separate plate) but the taco that did come on the plate was put right in the beans so it was covered with beans and soggy.My chili relleno was horrible I could barely even cut into it.Husbands chili colorado was tough

Happy Cinco De Mayo Murray! Celebrating with 1,000 of my closest friends or so it seamed. There was 30-40 people waiting to be seated, but somehow the servers kept it together and our table of 6 enjoyed a birthday celebration. The food was warm and seasoned well, my wife and I split a House fajitas for two. My daughter had the Murray Burrito, and before the main course is brought out a basket of freshly fried corn chips is set in the middle of the table and a small pitcher of homemade salsa that has just enough spice and heat on the backend that keeps you coming back to it and pouring on everything. The Spanish rice could be the star of the show here, moist and steamed till it’s tender and melts in your mouth. For those that judge a place on the size of the portion this place receives everyone’s vote. Take home boxes are carried by almost everyone out the door. Our fajitas for two could have easily fed 6 people. And the Murray burrito is almost big enough to break down a castle wall. Nothing at our table fell short of fantastic Mexican food at its finest.

The food was great! It was hot, and fresh. The service was horrible, my drink glass was empty almost the entire time. I also had to wait for about 15 mins to get some sour cream and it took 3 waitresses.

Oh man, this is the first time I’ve ever stopped in the middle of a meal just to leave a review. The salsa has a nice robust roasted depth. And the burrito Cocina was served up nice and hot and it was HUGE, the seasoning had a nice mild heat. And when you drink the margaritas you can feel it 😉 great fast service!

Food was mediocre. Drinks were ok. It was a close walk. Staff was very friendly we had a good lunch. But nothing stood out as fantastic.
