Do not waste your money. This place used to be good and now is a waste. The food is alright nothing special, the portion sizes are RIDICULOUS. A half acp is $13 and can barely feed a child. The full size queso is $6 for barely a cup and the bag of chips has shrunk three sizes. What a waste of money. I DIDNT EVEN GET CHIPS FOR MY HALF A RAMEKIN OF SALSA. The cashier is dishonest. She told me my total was $20.12 and I gave her $21 expecting change. She then asked me for another dollar so I gave it to her. She then handed me my small bag of food and said goodnight. I asked her where my change was and she reached in her pocket and pulled out a few Pennie’s and then put them back in her pocket shrugged her shoulders and said only four cents. I am beyond angry. Dishonest. I am not normally upset at a few Pennie’s but she was dishonest about the price and simply disrespectful when asked about my change that is 100% my money. I have grown up in the area and have come to this restaurant my entire life. I will NEVER be returning. Simply disappointing that I can’t even get a good portion and honest service when spending $20 for less than average food.

The best folks no matter who is serving. Usually on average 3 to 4 people will take care of us. Always a team effort between servers. They are like family to us!! We really miss them when we are unable to make our regular visit.

I ordered 2 big cocktails to go (campechano and shrimp) I asked first when I called them if I can have extra crackers they told me YES. When I pick up my food I asked her to make sure I have extra crackers then she checked and it was only 3!!!! She asked me how many more do I need I said 9 more she said NO I can’t give you 9 then I asked her how many more can I get ?? She said 3 more !!! Terrible service, she don’t even give an option to pay extra or when I first call them they haven’t asked me . Never come back !!!!!

This La Cocina (on Church St.) Is always so good. We almost didn’t try it because the other one at Holly Hill was so horrible. I am so glad we came to this one though because we have returned again. The food here is so good and the service is amazing. We have not been disappointed yet.

Visited this place twice in two weeks first experience was meh! girl that took my to go order asked me if I wanted all the vegetables that came with my entree I told her no. So got home and looked like extra veggies and little to no meat. Wasn’t very thrilled payed $34 for that but what ever. Second visit pulled in about 30 minutes before the closing time that’s posted . Same person met me at the door to tell me that they haven’t had anybody so they have closed. I can see why they have no business to stay open on the hours they set. To treat a paying customer that goes out of their way to visit the establishment. They have lost this customer for good!

charged me $13 for half a ACP??? outrageous didn’t even have shell and i still got charged that much and i been here many times over 3-4 years and its $13 for a full ACP???
