I had an unforgettable time at La cocina de Irma. The staff has the BEST customer service. As soon as you step into Irma’s place you really feel the warmth of energy.
My chicken torta & chicken tacos were perfect. Great depth of flavor and great portion too!
We also received a complimentary serving of Papas bravas which were spicy but oh so delicious. I’d definitely order them during our next visit.
Our server who I believe is her son, was very charismatic and provided us with great recommendations.
This spot needs to be everyone’s go to for delicious food and wonderful service. They deserve all of their great reviews, check em out!

Absolutely the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Every single dish was packed with flavor and tasted so fresh and authentic. You can truly tell how much love and care goes into the food.
On top of that, the owner’s son was an absolute sweetheart—so kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He made us feel so welcome and added to an already amazing experience.
This place is a gem, and I will 100% be coming back and recommending it to everyone I know. Thank you for such a wonderful meal and experience!

Absolutely exceeded all my expectations! The food was beyond delicious! I got the chipotle chilaquiles and birria tacos which were incredible! Every bite was amazing. What truly made the experience unforgettable was the owner and their family, genuinely some of the sweetest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. They made us feel like family the moment we walked in. You can feel the love and pride they put into their restaurant. I will 100% be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

I usually don’t leave many reviews but all the good reviews set my expectations high.
First I ordered some chicken fajitas which are 15$ on the menu. However at pickup the receipt reflected 17$ (inflation I get it). When I went to pay though the machine said 19$. Taxes of course but didn’t not know I could save with cash as there is a non-cash total. I shrugged it off and expected some good food with all these reviews. However once I got home and opened up the food. I was disappointed at the portion size. Shrugged it off I thought it would taste great. Disappointed again. The fajitas didn’t have much flavor and the rice was on the dry side. Only the beans were good. They gave me 8 tortillas which I had tortillas left over because of the small portion size. I’ve had better quantity and flavor elsewhere. To be fair probably don’t get takeout and don’t pay attention to the prices on the menu. At least the customer service is there, I think Doña Irma handled the transaction and she was very nice throughout the short experience.

My husband and I just had our first experience at this wonderful family-owned restaurant, and it certainly won’t be our last. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the most welcoming and warm family—the atmosphere immediately made us feel right at home.

I went to La Cocina de Irma with my mom sister and it was SO delicious. Definitely some of the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. They were still perfectly crispy even with all the delicious salsa on top , the flavor balance was amazing.
Not only was the food incredible, but the service made it even better. Miguel was so attentive and took the time to explain the dishes to us, which we really appreciated.
Such a great experience overall we will definitely be back

We felt welcome as soon as we walked in. The staff was a delight & the food delicious. The special oil on the table needs to be bottled. We definitely would have purchased. It was so unique & flavorful. The drinks were exceptional! Super fresh juices & homemade coffee were the cherries on top to round out a great experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Everything we had was delicious, service was great! I had the green chilaquiles with cecina and my husband had the green chilaquiles with barbacoa. The complimentary noodle soup and lentils soup were delicious, they offered 4 different salsa all were very good.
