Absolutely amazing experience! The food was outstanding—great quality and generous portions. The enchiladas and taco combo were delicious, and the chicken tortilla soup was truly incredible. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was exceptional. It’s easy to see why it’s considered one of the top-rated Mexican restaurants in Santa Clarita. Highly recommended!

We eat here a couple times a month. The food is consistently good and service is fast and friendly. 2 item combo ( chili relleno and beef taco) and wet burrito…im a fan of their tacos because they arent cheap on the meat and filling. Food is served hot with plenty of leftovers to take home… Can’t comment on the drinks but the margaritas look good!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Cocina Bar & Grill Family Restaurant at 19915 Golden Valley Rd, Santa Clarita, and it was hands-down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time.
From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent — warm, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Our server, Adan, was absolutely fantastic from start to finish, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and priced very fairly for the quality and portions. The margaritas were also a highlight — perfectly balanced, delicious, and with a generous pour of tequila (just the way they should be). Dessert was equally impressive, the perfect sweet ending to a great meal.
The waiting staff here is incredibly intuitive, anticipating needs before you even have to ask, which really makes the experience stand out. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve left a restaurant this satisfied.
If you’re looking for excellent food, drinks, and top-notch service in Santa Clarita, La Cocina is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!

Always wanted to try this place out and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere and vibe were great as it was fairly dim, and since it’s October, they had Halloween decorations up. Our booth had plenty of space. Our server Josue had a great attitude and smile, lived his energy. The food was amazing! Portions were big. Chips and salsa were delicious. We mainly got our food from the house special section and I think those are the best deals in the place. Would recommend this place my only concern is possibly the parking can be very hard to get a spot.

I loved the watermelon skinny margarita and the Culichi Shrimp. They can substitute for chicken instead too, if you like Poblano chili and cheese creamy. Comes with a chicken of salad or small abondiga soup. It’s a Mexican restaurant so expect decor to be fiesta themed.

We stopped here on our way to Universal studios. The kids liked their asada tacos hubby liked the chicken fajitas. But what we paid for them is not worth the money. You can see how little meat you get and they were 18.95. I had the shredded beef chimichanga. Not bad but again not for the price. It was 77. Dollars for the 4 meals

Great service and atmosphere. Chips and salsa were 10/10 and margaritas were solid. The staff is the highlight the bartenders were attentive and cared. Food came out quick and we were never wanting anything. The menu items could have been better but honestly it was good enough to come back.

I had such a great experience at La Cocina Bar & Grill on Golden Valley Road in Santa Clarita! The food is absolutely delicious — fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. Every dish feels like it’s made with real care, and the portions are generous.

The food holds its own against any local Mexican dining option but doesn’t really “stand out” as something special. I’ve never been disappointed with the food, and the portion sizes are large so you wont leave feeling hungry. The bar is hit or miss – the mixed drinks tend to be a little inconsistent but not enough to be a real issue. My only criticism would be the service – not attentive (not even close) after visiting this spot multiple times in the last 6 months. No such thing as a table touch – like when the server checks in to see how its going. No checks to refill salsa and/or chips. No checking to see if you’d like a refill on iced tea. After finishing our meal, it took almost 20 minutes for our server to walk by, and I had to ask him for our check! Overall, it is decent food at a fair price and I will return because though the service isnt great, it isnt horrible or rude – which is more than I can say about many other places in SCV these days.
