Enjoyed my dinner meal here! It’s tucked away in the downtown Decatur area but it’s a cute and intimate vibe. The queso blanco was really good along with the chips. I had the carnitas dinner plate and it was really good too! I did wish the carnitas plate had all the ingredients separately on one plate instead of it being served on top of each other but otherwise it was still good! Also the tortilla was really authentic and delicious!!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we found this spot. A young new vibe offering tasty and fresh food. The ceviche was yummy with a very low kick of heat; just right. My husband devoured the pork carnitas, came with lots of rice and beans. The pickled onions were a nice addition. I kept it classic with the chicken enchiladas. Perfect for me, just enough sauce and cheese. The tres leches cake topped with strawberries and cinnamon was just firm enough and fresh. Park in the visitor parking garage and they will validate the ticket.

Really enjoyed our birthday dinner here. The margaritas are delicious!! I had a skinny but also tried the sassy. Both were excellent!

We started with the salsa and cheese dip. I liked both the red and green salsa. Completely different flavors but both good. We also had the plain cheese dip and the chorizo cheese dip. Both yummy white cheese dip.

I had the shrimp ceviche for my main. It was really good. Fresh and flavorful. Lots of tart lime juice and fresh herbs. Really good.

Service was friendly. We Sat in the corner table and it was a nice spot. Clean and new. High ceilings. Comfortable seating.

This is my FAVORITE restaurant in Decatur. Brunch, lunch and dinner are all delicious. Everything is fresh and local ingredients. Espresso martinis, margaritas, happy hour, carnitas and the house salad with lemon dressing are all musts! As well as the caldo de pollo soup and taquitos. Staff is very warm and welcoming. Don’t miss this spot it will be a regular go-to!

Great food, good service, nice place. The fish taco was possibly the best fish taco I’ve had. El pastor Taco was pretty good too. The guacamole was freshly made but a very small portion. The salsa was the week part of the menu.

Overall I would come back. There our outside seating, bar seeding and tables.

Came here for brunch with my husband. Very cute spot with nice decorations and very clean. We sat at the bar and the bartender/server was very nice! We ordered a cinnamon roll which was so delicious and 2 breakfast burritos which were equally delicious and filling! Definitely will be back again!

“Why go to Rreal Taco when you can go here?” This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the discovery of a true hidden gem. This spot, though easily missed due to its discreet location, rewards the persistent diner with an unforgettable experience. Nestled charmingly beside a mini park and an apartment building, it offers a surprisingly quaint and inviting atmosphere. From the moment I stepped in, the bartender and staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming, setting a genuinely positive tone for the entire visit.

The menu presented a delightful array of options, making the choice a pleasant challenge. Initially, I opted for two tacos and nachos to go, but the inviting ambiance and the staff’s accommodating nature quickly swayed me to dine in. Unlike a recent, less flexible experience at “Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q,” the staff here had absolutely no issue with my change of plans or my choice of seating, which speaks volumes about their customer-centric approach. The food arrived promptly and was excellent. The tacos, in particular, were a revelation, boasting an impressive 2.5 to 3 times the amount of meat typically expected, generously accompanied by plenty of flavorful sauce. The nachos were good, though I initially assumed queso would be included. Upon reviewing the item description, I realized it wasn’t listed, a minor oversight on my part. However, this only fuels my anticipation to return and request queso next time, confident it will elevate them to truly great status. I’ve already enthusiastically recommended this place to a friend and look forward to bringing them here in the near future. This establishment has undoubtedly earned a spot on my list of must-revisit dining destinations.

My friend and I love this little restaurant! The owner and staff are super friendly, the food and drinks are consistently good, and it has a decent happy hour w $8 margaritas (although you have to sit outside or at the bar, which I think is kind of silly). A couple of solid vegan/vegetarian options. I usually park on the street, which is fine if you’re ok with walking a block or two.

I love Latin food!
I ordered the chicken enchilada dinner and there was very l little to no meat throughout the enchilada. I had to order a tacos on the side because I was not satisfied with the smaller meat portion. The atmosphere is the best! Great staff

Absolutely delicious Mexican fare without the heaviness you get from the order by number restaurants. Terrific bartender and tasty cocktails as well. We will be back.

*** we did go back, for breakfast and it was yummy. I was a little suspicious of biscuits at a Mexican place but these were quite tasty. They have a tasty jam that looks like strawberry but that has a very unique flavor I meant to ask what it was. We are adding it as one of our regular breakfast spots.
