My daughter and I stopped in for chocolate while visiting Bozeman. The shop is just off the main street – easy to walk to if you are downtown.
The chocolates are obviously made with care and they are beautiful to look at and even more delicious to enjoy! The shopkeeper was friendly and glad to answer questions. The chocolates all have a ganache filling and there are several caramels to choose from as well. Each one looked like a small piece of art.
My daughter’s favorite was the pistachio and I really enjoyed the lavender lemon. The Hawaiian lava salt caramel was a close tie.
Each piece was $2.90 and gift boxes were available… no need for us though as these were a small gift to ourselves to enjoy while exploring Bozeman to visit the Montana State University. I asked my daughter to please note this lovely shop on her college selection notes as I hope to have a reason to return!

– I wish there were samples. It was my first time there today and, I was in buying a box for myself. It would have been so amazing to have gotten to try before I buy. I bought 8 pieces to try out their items. Now I know which ones I love. But if I would have been able to try before I bought I would have bought as much as humanly possible. Instead I got a bunch of flavors I didnot like and two that I loved. Samples would be PHENOMENAL.
Know I know that I love the créole and marzipan.
Having samples would be really amazing and, helpful for first timers like me. I got better suggestion from the other customer who was in there with me than the employee.
– It was my first time but I was very confused on why half the store looks like it’s under construction ??
I think there was ice cream but the employee was not helpful to explaining products, selling or showing me around.
– A personal preference: There are no milk alternatives for the hot chocolates. I would wish they would have a milk alternative for the hot cocoa such as barista style oat milk.
They told my niece she could bring her $15 jar of caramel on the plane and they took it away. Bad advice!
First the staff were quite overbearing, they were trying to be friendly but came off as creepy because they watched our every move while we decided what truffles we wanted.
Secondly we decided to try a few truffles, they looked gorgeous but were so bland, flavorless, and dry! They all tasted the same. We are both chocolate obsessed so we have a lot to compare them to.
Thirdly we asked if they still served their delicious “French hot chocolate” the young women at the front said yes, and we bought two, we even paid extra for cream on top. We were genuinely miffed when we took a sip and it was obviously Swiss Miss or some other cheap powder hot chocolate mix, we even swear we heard the microwave in the back kitchen heating up the water. We’ve both had real European hot chocolate before and this definitely wasn’t it!
Very disappointing after paying for and being told it was “French” feeling very ripped off! Such a shame because it otherwise was a very cute shop and the hot chocolate used to be so delicious.
