Let me explain how good this food was! This was my first time here and won’t be my last. The Lomo had a distinct flavor but very good flavor nonetheless, the pork was fried perfectly and the onion salad was so flavorful! The soup was so delicious and soothing. Lastly the prices are very good considering how big the portions are. Great job!!!

Ceviche was superb. The leche de tigre can have some real heat so experiment thoughtfully to find your perfect spice.
Lots of thoughtful details include some unique and lovely murals on the walls.

Nice little place to get your Peruvian fix in away from the bustle of Paterson. I only had the limo saltado and it was good. The server was nice, the place is small and cozy but definitely has traffic often when I drive by. Will try something else on the menu.

First time ordered from La Chata in Hawthorne, read all good reviews…. I’m like let me try it!!
Well I just have to say never, never again ordering from this place again!! $$ down the drain!! Chaufa with chicken just taste high sodium, lomo salteado was cook, reheat and serve…and to top it off it’s more onions and fried than supposedly lomo( hard dry meat)
Definitely is a big NO for me coming back!!!!

Very good. It’s been a while since I’ve found a food like this in the region, the ceviche was very fresh and the sautéed noodles wonderful. I recommend.

We drove past this place and decided to stop in. The customer service was superb. They were very friendly, offered to answer questions, and even made suggestions. The food was amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, the right amount of spice, and the presentation was also very nice. They package the food with care and wrapped items that may leak. I was very pleased with this place and will certainly return. Not only was the food delicious, the attention to the customer was impressive.
