Ill start with my 3 stars for atmosphere, basically we were super early before people went out for dinner as we wanted food before leaving the airport.
We had pizzas, I had tuna and onion but I was disappointed, as we are in part of the world where tuna is available I was expecting fresh chunks of tuna for that extra fresh look and taste. The tuna I think was from a tin. That being said, I ate the whole pizza- I was hungry,
The other pizza looked fine and my wife said it was nice, think it was spicy beef. Dough base was thin and cooked well.
Im sure I just picked the wrong pizza but my head told me it was going to obviously be fresh tuna- I ordinarily would avoid pizza with tuna.
Give it a try, we didn’t actually have a bad experience.

I’m originally from Chicago and have been eating pizza all my life so I hope that qualifies this review. If you’re in Nassau and you are craving pizza you don’t need to look any further or waste money. La caverna has the BEST pizza on the island by far! And if you order ahead it will be ready in 10 minutes. Not to mention that it is by far the cleanest and most comfortable restaurant to dine-in in NASSAU.
Tip: if you like your pizza cheesy simply order extra cheese and it will be that. I spent 7 months searching pizza in Nassau so now you don’t have to. Bon appetite’

Went here with my family and ordered a margarita pizza with pepperoni on it. It came out just as a pepperoni pizza and they tried to gaslight us into saying a margarita pizza is “just cheese” when I explained to the manager that it’s supposed to have basil on it and tomato’s and fresh mozzarella I got handed a plate of basil that was on a stem. Now looking at the receipt, we were obviously lied to and got charged and served a pepperoni pizza.

Best Italian food that I ever had. Serving great, and authentic and italian foods, from handmade pasta to handmade pizza. Italian waiter is attentive to details, and friendly. Always warm welcome and check if things all good. Will come back again when I back to Bahamas.

Had lunch here with a friend. The scenery in the outdoor dining area was lovely. The service was also great – the waiter and waitress who served us were both quite pleasant. My friend and I split the fried calamari, which was great – hot, crisp, and the tomato sauce was good. I had lasagna and tirimisu, which were both good. The lasagna came out bubbling, so I was very happy. Unfortunately my friend wasn’t terribly fond of her arancini (I kind of liked it) and the pastry in the profiteroles she ordered was a bit dry. All in all it was a great experience (for me especially) and I’d definitely visit again.
