Seriously such an awesome restaurant and experience!! The owner gave us a tour of the cave and his mushrooms. It was seriously an experience I’ll never forget! The owner was engaging, instructive, and oh so hilarious!! Our whole group absolutely loved the cave tour and the restaurant. The food was excellent. The flavoring of the mushrooms was so perfect, people who didn’t like mushrooms were shocked at how much they loved it. The escargot was awesome and you can’t beat the cave environment. So interesting and unique. I’d give it a ton more stars if I could! I would highly recommend it!

This is a culinary experience not a typical restaurant. First off the cave is amazing. The owner is very nice and the food is delicious.
To start do not expect fast service it’s not about eat and run. There are only a three choices of meat to add to your meal. But the escargot is sooo good. All the meals are served with the same courses which does also include wine, water (rare for France) and dessert. All the courses of food are unlimited. The bread is baked in the wood oven right in front of you. And everything is fresh and local. The shitake mushrooms are grown in this cave and are the best thing I have had in a long time. The flavors and combinations were delightful. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant.
There is a bar as well.

One word – bread! There’s no other choice of carbohydrate in this place. That’s fine to start with but when every single course on one of their virtually identical set menus comes out as a variation on their ‘special bread’ you start to wonder whether potatoes or rice or pasta would somehow perish in the cave?!

So, three courses in and looking forward to a dessert that had better not be bread and fricking butter pudding or I might be driven to violence and, guess what, they’re serving me bread and cheese. Noooooooo!

The apple tart and coffee afterwards were great (the tart was heated from frozen) but I suspect only because they weren’t made of fricking dough.

Never, ever again.

The food was excellent. Very reasonably priced set menu. Caves slightly underwhelming.

Slow service, average food but an interesting place. The thing that was giving in 2 stars instead of 1 was the pricing.
