We went there for a birthday lunch. The birthday celebration is great. They bring out a little firework. And some churros. They come delivered in a fire truck type thing. It’s really cool. I enjoyed everything. One note I probably wouldn’t order the tacos again. They lacked sour cream guacamole and pico de gallo. They were kind of dry clump of meat. But everything else was wonderful. I had the flight of margaritas. Those are many margaritas and they were very cute and fun and a big hit. Everybody else wish they would have ordered that.

Nice fresh veggies in their vegetarian burrito. My husband got the steak burrito and the same fresh ingredients as well.
House margaritas was nice as well, not too sweet. I got draft beer so can say too much on the cocktail front other than the margaritas.
Great small local place. Defiantly recommend to supporting them.

We stopped in on a Saturday evening (early) and from the time we walked in the door until. we left we experienced friendly service, great food & drink. Good thing we stopped in early as the place was filling up fast by the time we were getting ready to leave.
If you like Tequila you will enjoy the well stocked bar. My wife had an interesting cocktail that was on the menu as a special. For the life of me I cannot remember what it was called.
I had the Burrito Al Pastor and my wife enjoyed a Chimichanga. Both were delicious.

The food is like an amazing adventure in flavors. They have low carb options that are packed with substance. The prices are reasonable, with a plethora of choices. They have a wide selection of margaritas, including a lavender one I would recommend trying! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is great.!

The actual restaurant is nice, but the food was UNPLEASANT!!
We stopped by for a quick lunch, in total we ordered 15 tacos , took advantage of the taco Tuesday special, I dont know if its cause they are $2 or what, but the Chorizo tacos were swimming in grease, it wasnt strained , literally full of grease, I took a picture of the grease from ONE taco, our stomachs hurt while in the restaurant.
The asada tacos too were a bit greasy but not as bad. Not a good first experience.

First visit to Tacos and Tequila. It was a beautiful day, so the front wall, which appears to be a garage door, was fully open, letting the fresh air in. Loved that! Music was playing, akin to a nightclub, but at a more reasonable volume. Our waitress was attentive, kind and helpful. The bartender was great at his job… and easy on the eyes! We got tacos and they were fantastic!!! Bought many more to take home. Chips and fresh pico were also delicious. Looking forward to going back again.

This place is a nice little hidden gem in downtown Mount Vernon. Perfect place to get together with a friend and chat about life and business. The food was super tasty! I heard the tequila is good….I will stick with my coffee. They have GREAT coffee!

Fantastic place. Hubby had breakfast burrito. It was really tasty. Great flavor. I had the steak / crispy bacon tacos. Again… Great flavor and very filling. Three tacos for $13.
