This place was perfect! The food was delicious and extremely fast! I love that they had multiple vegetarian dishes! I also love that the kids menu had vegetarian dishes too! Some of my kids got the crispy taco with veggie meat, rice and beans. You do receive chips and salsa at no cost and the salsa is fresh and delicious! I would consider the salsa a little more mild than a medium salsa which I thought was perfect. The waitress was fast, thorough, and checked on us. The only downside was parking. While there is a big parking lot, it is shared by a gym and other businesses so since we got there at 5:30, many people were at the gym to work out and we had to park pretty far away, but it was worth it. We didn’t wait at all either. I also appreciate that the prices were reasonable because we have 6 mouths to feed, it was perfect!

I specifically asked them to not add any cheese into my order of a chimichanga, and to put the rice and beans on the side because of the no cheese, and they loaded it with cheese in the burrito and on the beans on the side.. he had to cut his burrito a quarter off because it was loaded with cheese on the edge. And then taking off the cheese off of the beans, there was hardly any beans. My other order of taquitos with added on lettuce the lettuce looked old sloppy presentation. The only thing that was actually good was the de res soup

They have a nice outdoor patio area with heaters that they have decorated so cute for Christmas. Our server was pleasant but the overall service was poor. Took too long to take our order and never asked how our food was. We had to ask for more chips and salsa, they only brought chips so we had to get up and go find the server to get salsa. In a Mexican restaurant?! Those should never be empty and no, they were not busy. My son was only drinking water and they never refilled his glass. The food was good not great but I would have given them a 4 if the service were better.

Terrible Experience. They refused to let us sit in a larger booth, even though we had 2 guys 6’4”. We had to sit at a table, very uncomfortable. Two booths sat empty the whole time we were there. When we left a party of 3 was seated in the booth. For 4 people they gave us 1 small basket of chips, so we asked for another which was half full of chips. If you wanted another basket, you had to pay extra. Never heard of this at any Mexican restaurant in San Diego or Riverside Counties. Food was disappointing. The place to go is Casuelas Cafe next to Pete Carlson on Hwy111. Really nice atmosphere and fun place. Extra split charge not disclosed. Again food was not good. Rude service from all staff except the one nice guy who delivered chips and cleaned up the table. You should go work at a more fun place. Will NEVER go back again. Casuelas Cafe Highly Recommended!!!’n

La Casita is absolutely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Anytime I’m in the area, I crave one of their cadillac margaritas and chips & salsa. This time I had a combo plate with a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada – delicioso! The fajitas smell just as good as they taste. I usually get the Fiesta tostada with the shredded chicken, and it has never disappointed. I rarely order chicken at restaurants (since I eat it so often at home, but theirs is so tasty and juicy! We always have great service since my parents are regulars and they know everyone there. Really, though, they treat everyone wonderfully. Stop on in when you’re in the area and in the mood for good Mexican food!
