The food was really good. They do not skimp on anything and the prices were good for the quality and quantity. Our waitress was very attentive even though they were completely packed. She was also very friendly. If you are looking for Mexican food, this is a great place to stop in.

The food here is very delicious. And very reasonably priced! The tortillas appear to be freshly made. The chips are nice and thin and crispy. The salsa is good, too. I had the enchiladas con chipotle and it was very good, yet a bit spicy and tasted made from scratch. My picky 8-year old had the kids beef taco and even he said it was good. In fact, he just said, “this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. They should build one of these in Springfield (where we’re from).”

Update 2/6/2025…. Food still AMAZING… cold Modelo on tap is a must… my server Beronica (female) was outstanding.

07/25/2023 updating from last time. Ordered food and was very disappointed. Ordered 2 chicken Enchiladas and one relino, and the reno was supposed to have cheese in it. I ended up with one cheese enchilada and two relino.
I only pray my husband’s beef enchiladas and 2 relinos are what they are supposed to be. I also ordered 4 street tacos, and it’s just a very small taco salad. Also, I paid 5 dollar tip to pick up my own food. The cost of all my food was 35 dollars plus tip. Nope, I don’t think I will try this again.

Hands down the BEST mexican food I have ever had, nothing compares. Rustic atmosphere is cozy, service is above the bar, and portions are worth the price. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
