Up and coming Latino restaurant that is super needed in the area! The salsa for the chips was delicious. Everything I got was good and great portions too. The seasoning on the chicken for the bowl was def on point. They definitely get very busy (went on a Friday night) but even then everyone was checked in on by the staff. The owner is also super sweet and cares about her customers. They’ve come a long way from when they opened and I can tell they’ll continue to improve on everything. Love supporting small businesses especially when they care about what they do/provide . Will definitely be returning!

Overall this was a great experience! Customer service was amazing from the start. The menus are great because they have visuals to help pick faster.
I loved my multiple meals that I got. I personally going to come back to try out other dishes because these meals were seasoned really well!
Dining in was great the atmosphere was really nice and calm, music was great and it did get pretty busy at some point but the workers served everyone in a timely manner.
Highly recommended, various dishes, great desserts, great drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic), and ample parking which is always great!

This restaurant is awesome!!!!! The fish tacos were well seasoned and cook to perfection. The atmosphere is welcoming after long work week or you just want to hangout with family and friends to enjoy home-cooked Mexican cuisine and drinks. Can’t wait to visit again.

This was my first visit and I have to say it was well worth the drive from Manassas VA to Bowie MD for this food , being a vegetarian it’s always hard to eat out with my family where everyone can enjoy what they like , in a cozy vibrant setting Attentive staff sour out to the bartender her spicy margarita is on point if your looking for great Mexican food La Casa Sandrita In Bowie MD is the place .

Was very excited when I saw we finally got another Mexican restaurant in Bowie. There has been a lack since Mi Hacienda closed.
This place is more of a fast-casual style, order at the counter. The food was delicious, and very tasty. The salsas had good spice and flavor, I think a previous reviewer doesn’t have any taste buds .

Its a small, little place. The server was nice and attentive. Now the food…the Birra Tacos were not seasoned and the consume was very watery, again lacked flavor. The fish tacos, tasted like they were frozen fish from a dirty air fryer and had no flavor. The
caviche tostada was decent. I took a chimichanga to go and unfortunately, again it was a lack of flavor, seasoning! Not a fan! Sorry!

Their food was absolutely wonderful. I ate virtually every last bit of it. I told my wife that we need to come back there. I believe that the value was pretty good considering the portion size. I had a Mexicano bowl with chicken and steak, the meat was seasoned quite well and it was tender, which was a plus for me and the server, he was very polite and amiable.

I got the authentic elsalvadorian papusos (sp) and tacos. Everything was delicious. The cashier, Adriel, was VERY knowleable about all of the food choices. The menu is limited however. This is a locally owned establishment. To my knowledge it is the only one. Drop in and give them a try.
