This is a good establishment for Mexican cuisine in the Edwardsville area. Big menu with lots of options. Nothing spectacular, but it’s the best of the bunch in Edwardsville. Service is ok, but food comes out quickly and it’s not overly expensive. The corn bread side is delicious.

Came here for my first time and it was a delight. Staff was nice and welcoming. Upon entering the table it didn’t take long to get drinks or order our food. Food was hot, quick ans delicious. Over all atmosphere is great. It’s a calming, relaxing a place to have a good time at. Dish below i got birria tacos! I highly recommend, I will be coming back!

Had lunch there for the first time. The Chiles Poblanos was amazing. I get it at every Mexican restaurant I visit. It is my favorite place hands down. My grandson adored the Mexican Street Corn and tacos. The staff were very friendly and did their jobs well. The atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. Will definitely return.

We came in with a larger group to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately received extremely poor service. Our assigned server acknowledged us the bare minimum the entire time we were there. He did appear to be the bartender, so we were initially patient, but the restaurant was not busy enough to justify being repeatedly ignored—especially considering we were seated directly at the end of the bar and he walked past us several times without even making eye contact.
Basic requests like warming our queso, refilling drinks, and even bringing out our food had to be handled by a completely different server who noticed we were being overlooked.
Food was good as always, but the service was unacceptable for what was meant to be a celebratory meal.

The restaurant was extremely busy on a Saturday night, but luckily we got a seat at the bar. The drink menu is expansive with lots of options. The food tastes great too.the atmosphere is fun and festive. I recommend this restaurant.

I had time to kill before picking up a catering order near by and it was lunchtime. I had already experienced other restaurants in the area and was craving Mexican, so La Casa was an easy choice.
The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The chips were thin, warm and crisp. However, the salsa could have used a little more spice. Recently, my go to adult beverage when dining Mexican is a, Paloma. That was a bad choice here. The Paloma here, was totally flavorless. To be honest, I couldn’t even tell if there was any alcohol in it at all.
Best part of my visit, was my entree. I enjoyed three soft shelled Shrimp Tacos and they were delicious. The shrimp stuffed into the tacos were prepared well and they were huge. My side of Mexican Rice was very good. Typically, I am not a fan of Mexican Rice, but theirs was soft and seasoned well. Wish all Mexican restaurants made it this well.
If you’re in the area and want some good Mexican, I’d say La Casa is worth a visit.

They had the best salsa! All of the food that we ordered was fantastic. I had the combo with a taco, beef enchilada and cheese and onion enchilada. I wish that they were located closer to where I live
