So the food was hot, and the bathroom descent. The priceless menu(with prices covered with stickers)should had been red flag. Two combo dinners with 1 tea. No refill. $47. I was price shocked.

My favourite Mexican restaurant! I’ve been coming here for years.

I was last here before the holidays; last night I came in and the physical menu now has stickers to cover the prices. You have to use a QR code to see them. That’s new. I really hate needing my phone to look at menus! This is why I removed a star. Browsing a menu is part of the restaurant experience that I love. Apparently with the QR code, you can now get pick up or delivery. Hopefully more of the $ goes direct to the restaurant than other 3rd party delivery apps!

The prices have also gone up, though when I asked management about it they told my menu photo was 11 years ago. I was able to find a menu photo from last year though and confirmed it DID go up since my last visit, both my usual order and across the board including lunch specials. My order was + $4 from last year, and my partner’s was + $5. $6.99 lunch is now $10.99. I understand food is more expensive and restaurants don’t have much choice, though the sudden hike is kind of steep. Our normal chill dinner now costs as much as any other sit-down restaurant.

With these changes I worried the restaurant had new management. Fortunately it seems to still be run by the same managers/family. The staff are always very friendly, the food is still very good and the portions are still very generous even for the new prices. The shrimp and veg are always perfectly grilled, and the salsa is always very fresh!

La Casa Lopez is still my favorite Mexican restaurant. I’m sad for some of the changes, but I know that’s kind of how it is now – times are rough for restaurants. I’m glad they held on as long as they did before the hike and I will continue to support them when I can!

Been visiting this place for years. Excellent and friendly staff. Always willing to accommodate you. Food is made quickly and tastes fantastic. They also offer a larger private dining area for parties. I’ve had 20+ guests in the area and was able to self decorate with party supplies.

Came here for my birthday. I just wanted some good Mexican food. Margarita pitcher had a roach. We had just received our cheese dip appetizer and drinks and when pouring the Margarita a dead roach floated to the top. We advised to stop our dinner order cause we couldn’t eat after seeing that and the lady said we still had to pay for our app (that we didn’t eat) and our sodas. Extremely disappointed and shocked they still made us pay!

Stopped here for bite to eat and I ordered something I been wanting to try for a while now, I had the Mojarra (Fried whole tilapia served with rice , salad ,avocado slices, and tortillas). The hubby had the Cubana without the pineapple.
(Steak, chicken, ham, and chorizo, and pineapple)
We shared a Ceviche De Camaron
(Chopped up shrimp mixed with pico de gallo and avocado served with tostadas) And hands down this meal was bussin. Great portions, Lots of good flavors

Wanted to try and eat some Mexican food last night, and my go-to spot of Pancho Villa had a 45 minute wait (In hind sight would’ve been worth waiting) I used to go to Lopez when I worked across the road for lunch, and it would cost around 10 or 11 dollars for a lunch ACP with a drink, that’s been about 2 years ago.
Well, I remembered it and went there last night instead of waiting at Panchos, it was me, my girlfriend and her sister ordered a non-alcoholic Pina colada. Our bill was $80 for a cheese dip, ($13) 2 dinner plates ($18 each) virgin Pina colada and regular Pina colada with 2 fountain drinks. The food was decent, i won’t say it was bad, I would just say it wasn’t worth the price. Can go to a 4 star mexican place and the food will be the same price and will be even better.
Should’ve been a red flag when the menu had all of the prices covered up, so scanned the QR code and seen the prices of the food after we had ordered, I don’t see how the online ordering prices and the actual menu prices are the same. Typically a % goes to the 3rd party company for the delivery app, but I guess they just go off of their prices. A regular ACP should NOT be almost $18, same wotg 2 chimichangas. And a mixed drink was almost $12? That’s the same price if you were to get one at a football stadium or something. Absolutely insane. Everywhere else we go the drinks are $5-8 depending on what it is, and the same food we ordered is typically $12, and large cheese dip is always $8 while a small is around $5 everywhere else. Will not be going back. Don’t enjoy spending Fratelli or Ryan’s money, for some basic Mexican food.

The food was decent but the prices are not advertised on the dine in menus. We were surprised by a $70 bill for two people. If they would have advertised well, I would’ve been more inclined to return and leave a good review.

Love this little tucked away Mexican restaurant! Yummy Margaritas and the Fajita Texana nachos were delicious! Reminded us of a little place we visited in New Mexico a couple of years ago — cozy, colorful, and great food.

Used to go frequently until the prices skyrocketed. Frequently $7/entree to $17/entree! If they had their previous prices it would be 4 stars all around.

We stopped here while charging our car at the GMB Buick Cadillac dealership across the street and I’m so glad we did. My husband and I both agreed it was the best Mexican food we’d had outside of our favorite Mexican restaurant in our hometown. I got the choripollo and he got the carne asada- both were excellent!

Waitress was very attentive and wonderful with our year and a half old daughter, she made the visit truly delightful.

Would recommend to anyone to stop in for a wonderful time and happy belly!
