This spot is hands down the best place for authentic Mexican food in Flowery Branch! The flavor-to-value ratio here is off the charts. I ordered two carne asada street tacos with pico de gallo and cheese, plus one grilled shrimp specialty taco with pico and their homemade chipotle sauce. These are not your average street tacos—portions are generous, and the flavors still have my mouth tingling.
I needed a pick-me-up after my mid-afternoon food coma, so I ordered an espresso and stirred in three packets of sugar. That did the trick—I got my glow back.
Service was excellent, and on my way out I met one of the owners. Great vibe, beautiful bar, and a genuinely humble staff. This is my new favorite spot. Next time I’ll take pictures. Highly recommended.

La Casa del Taco was recommended by a friend yesterday so I took my son over. We both had the Burritos de la Casa and not only were they both delicious (he had Chicken, I had Chicken and Chorizo), but they were enormous! They could easily be split by two.
The salsa was great and the waiter also brought three types of sauces which were great on the burritos. One was a bit creamy, another was a roasted salsa, and the last was some type of tomatillo salsa—all were tasty.
Finally, I ordered something for the first time at a Mexican restaurant because it was recommended by my friend: Roasted Potatoes. Never would I have done that, but you should too. Thank me later!

As you read this, understand, I’ve eaten here six times in the last three months. As soon as you walk, you are greeted immediately and with a polite, welcoming smile. Been with quite a few different servers, and have always had excellent, top notch service; very attentive and caring attitudes. When glancing around the restaurant, it looks like absolute teamwork and professionalism overlapping each other, helping each other out. Food has always been hot, fresh, and consistent.

I actually went there twice last week. Once was for a dinner meeting, and I took my wife back for a date on Saturday. The food is amazing, and portions are gigantic. Earlier last week I had a chicken dish that was delicious. All of their chicken dishes look incredible. Later in the week I had steak. I’m pretty sure it as flank steak, that was cooked medium rare to perfection. The service is extremely attentive. We ate in the bar area so the bartender was also our server. Several other people check on us in addition to the bar tender. The seating in the bar area was very comfortable. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for atmosphere is it was kind of crowded and loud, but if it wasn’t good it wouldn’t be crowded. I cannot recommend La Casa del Taco more highly. I have been here several other times with groups, and everyone has always been extremely satisfied.

First time coming here and all I gotta say is WOW! Tacos can be hit or miss but this place really out did themselves with the flavors of their cuisine. Drinks were also a hit. Staff was very friendly! I didn’t have a wait time because I sat at the bar. Nonetheless, they’ve earned a returning customer. Side note: it’s always packed & there is limited parking.

We visited La Casa De Taco years ago when it first opened, and wow…what a transformation! The updated décor and elevated food really impressed us. No long wait, and our server was fantastic with great suggestions. We’ll definitely be back much sooner this time!
