Way overpriced food. Worse was the quality! Ordered 2 popusas de chicharron, it came out to just under $30! And, they were gross! Greasy and the so called chicharrones were stale, hard and looked more like days old carnitas that were heated up in the microwave! The walls were completely bare and with a dingy looking color. Not a pleasant looking place to have a meal! Never again will I eat at this place nor would I recommend it to anyone! Luckily, I discovered another little spot that is Great!

One of THE BEST Mexican restaurants in all of Salinas! It’s our go-to fave. Before I started a keto diet, I always ordered the California burrito carne asada with avocado and french fries inside. Now I request my food in a bowl with no rice to be keto-friendly and still delicious.

The salsa was so watery and salty like they were trying to get as much as they could out of one batch. The meat was definitely a day old because it didn’t taste fresh. It was dry and hard.

Just ate here the other night for the first time and I was really disappointed. Food was very pricey and for the price it was really not that great. My wife didn’t like the flauta and the Chile reno was not really that good also. I had the nopale huarache and everything was just kind of bland in flavor. Unfortunately would not come here again, especially with how pricey it was. Server was great and service was friendly but that was the only good thing.

Great food . Homemade corn & flour tortillas. The Homemade Mexican style soups are excellent. Carne Asada plate was awesome. Meat was tender . Excellent rice and beans. Good selection of salsas. Takes a little bit long to get your food (made from scratch) but its worth the wait. Reasonably priced. Great Stuff!

Good service and good food. On the spicy side. But that’s how I like it.

Small place……not big enough for a big family. First and last time going. We were the first family to walk in and last to get our food until we asked if we were getting food for us. They said they were getting the food ready so that we all eat together. They still took like 10-15 minutes for out first plate. Food wasn’t tasty and took almost an hour to get our food. If I can give it a 0 stars I would. Also expensive.

I do NOT recommend this place. The menu has only breakfast or dinner. No lunch options and Is highly overpriced. I ordered grilled fish. The menu said the order came with steamed veggies.

Came in when it was completely dead. There was absolutely no one else inside other than me and my wife and they still managed to take 45min-1hr to serve us our food. I ordered the quesabirria and my wife ordered the molcajete, the usual, and for the third time in a row they manage to take 45-1hr to serve us our food. Its like if they were in the back killing the cow itself to serve us. The manager’s name was Claudia and she been present every time. Dont know what’s going on, but its been like this ever since the new mamager (Claudia) has been in charge. The waitresses were on point and attentive, but they can only apologize so much as to why out food was taking so long. Something needs to change in management because being served 45min-1hr for the 3rd time in a row with this new management is unacceptable.
